Greens are in awful shape, like putting on someone's carpet. Inconsistent across holes. No starter. Was jumped at the turn by walkers in the amount of time it takes to get a hotdog and use the men's room. Saw a foursome where a guy had his shirt off and was blaring a Bluetooth speaker from the cart. Just...avoid this place.
First day with no big amount of rain. Course was very wet but to be expected after 4 days of torrential rain, They will have some work to do when it dries out some
Course is pretty straight forward and greens are pretty beat up and bumpy. Not worth full price but if you can get in on a deal then it’s worth it.
Got there early, went out by myself, finished the round in under 2 1/2 hours. Somewhat windy day but good day out!
Very glad to see this course now on GolfNow. This used to be one of the last courses where it was first come, first serve, no tee times!
Overall, the course is worth the money. Today and currently, they are still charging winter rates because the fall was not kind to the greens (to put it mildly).
Good layout, challenging but chances to score. Tees, fairways in good shape, greens need help, bunkers not in the best shape.
Again, overall, worth checking out if you’ve never played here.
This is a great course; a real value at the price point. It's a fun and challenging round of golf, with great staff and atmosphere.
Love this family run course. Very friendly group of people work and play golf here. Fairways, tee boxes and bunkers look good. Greens are recovering from last year. Next month they should be in top notch shape.
Greens under repair
Great layout and friendly staff. Greens destroyed last year. Understand they have improved but not good yet.
Very Enjoyable, Great Timing on the Round!
The course is looking really good. We've played here for many years and always enjoy coming back. We especially like how they changed to 8 minute tee times spacing because the pace of play was fantastic. They use to have tee times 6 minutes apart so this makes a major difference! They are also upgrading the food in the Club Room so we had a delicious sandwich and a beer afterwards. Everyone here is always so nice here; we had such an enjoyable day!
really bad greens
I would not play this course again the greens are the worst I have ever seen, the ball wouldn't even roll with out hoping on the green because of the condition of the greens really bad
Great golf course. Staff was so friendly and course was very forgiving for my game. Enjoyed getting out for this time of the year. Kudos to the crew maintaining the course through a very tough year we just had in the Philadelphia area.
Putting here was more like putting on the surface of the moon than a golf course. Needs some serious work unless you enjoy chipping instead of putting.
It was winter so not surprised the course was in bad condition. There was no computer to show my tee time so i oaid the convenience fee for no reason. Winter tees are the ladies tees so course was easy and somewhat boring
Greens were in awful shape.
I have played Neshaminy Valley before, but this will be the last time. The greens were in horrible shape, dried out, brown, and full of bumps and divots. At least 75% had old punch out hole marks which were uneven and not possible to putt through.
Due to the lack of hydration on & around the greens and the horrible pin placements, this course was unplayable. Very disappointed. Always liked this course had charm and a fun setup but conditions were that of a run down chip and putt course.
Love this Place!
The golf course has beautiful scenery and natural surroundings. Always a pleasure to play here because the staff is always so helpful and friendly.
Love the lay out!
It is what it is
This is and always has been a family owned and operated public golf course that could fall under the moniker of a local muni. This is a nice local golf course for seniors, ladies and beginners. On this Mother's Day I got in a quick 2 hour round playing as a single in a cart on cart paths only. Parts of the course do not take water and drain well. The fairways are basically a lawn mowed short, the rough isn't severe and the small greens main defense are the angles they are set at. I recommend it for casual and local players but not necessarily low handicap players.
A near perfect afternoon on the course
I had played Neshaminy once before and wanted to go back with a foursome to really appreciate it. We arrived early and they said we could go on right away. We were waiting for our friend so we couldn't but still a nice gesture. The lady at the snack bar was extremely nice and they had good selection of beer and snacks.
The course isn't spectacular, but exactly what we were looking for. Front 9 is very open, back 9 was a little more challenging. Greens are large, but far from flat and they were kind of slow which is fine. Some long par 3s.
My only real complaint is the condition of the tee boxes. They were rock hard and not much grass on most of them. It was actually quite difficult to get a tee in of many the holes. That wouldn't deter me from playing again.
The course was pretty near perfect for the price and for a round with three good friends to play and have a couple beers.
