Kimberton Golf Club
About
Kimberton Golf Club, which opened in 1962, has stood the test of time. Well known golf course designer George Fazio created a nice mix of holes about 45 minutes northwest of Philadelphia. The golf course isn't overly long and doesn't feature a lot of trouble, but it's long on fun. The signature par-4 third, a dogleg right around woods, is a pretty hole and worth the trip. Kimberton Golf Club is a just good old-fashioned, Philadelphia-style golf course.

I'd recommend this course only because I've known it to be in better condition.
Every G Box T Box was in bad shape date. Everygreen was recently irated, only to have little to no sand filling the holes to make it level.
For the value of a Saturday and Sunday greens feed plus cart nearing $70 , this was not a good value and the pace of play could have been better.
Come on Kimberton , get your stuff together. Congratulations on getting the lease on the driving range, it will add we'll add a lot of business back.
Invest in tee boxes and aeration sand
Sad how much they have let the tee boxes determinate at this once proud course. Looks like they are taking the greens fee and running, not spending money on maintenance. I have played here for past twenty years and the tee boxes yesterday are worse than any other course I have played. Additionally, they punched the greens, but applied no sand! Would have been nice to receive an aeration alert or a discount for the poor conditions. Sad what this course had become
Great Course
Couldn’t ask for a better weekday round. Course was in nice shape, staff was very friendly, and played 18 in 3h 10m. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
Disappointed.
golfed with a friend. appears they havent even attempted maintaining the course. no watering ruff fairways greens. tee boxes all crab grass. kind of embarrassing. would never have expected this having previously played here. did not enjoy it all all. will never be back.
Oh Kimberton… what happened???
Kimberton was once a serviceable course, not entirely sure what happened. Im better off hitting balls in my backyard then going to play here. The rough looked like I was going through a jungle, hit your ball in the rough? Might as well get ready to drop another, you aren’t finding it! For a public course I don’t expect great greens but I might as well have been on the price is right, it was like putting on a plinko board the way the ball was bouncing. I love a good Sunday round behind many walkers. I’ll give it two stars cause the grease missile at the turn was phenomenal.
Where do I start. Kimberton used to be my all time favorite course in the area. I recently moved back into the area after about 2 years and was very excited to be able to play it again. After going out this past Sunday using the word disappointed is an under statement from the 3 groups of walkers in front of me slowing down the pace of play to if you hit your ball even a foot off the fairway good luck finding it might as well just drop another, to the worst part the greens it’s like I was playing basketball how much my ball was bouncing. Needless to say I won’t be returning anytime soon, It’s almost like they are under new management and people are just really dropping the ball. There are way to many other golf courses in better condition in the area, SAVE YOUR MONEY and go somewhere else.
Good Public Course
Kimberton is a good local public course that is fairly easy. Fairways and greens were in ok shape but nothing spectacular. We played in under 4 hours. It is a good value.
Nice layout – great value.
Nice layout – great value.
Overall a very nice course at a very low rate. I found the staff to be very friendly. Most of the greens were in decent shape, considering it was still only mid March. . The bunkers were in decent shape and the greens were very wet, not surprising for this time of year. Overall it’s well-kept. Nice variety of challenging holes , along with a couple of longer par fours. I would definitely return and recommend this as a great municipal course in the area.
Would come baxk
Although someone might have taken my ball on one of the opposite holes, I would go back. Course is in great shape and the greens were great as well.
Open course
Loved the layout. Cheaper than most courses in the area, and just as good if not better! Staff was friendly. It was still fun even though I didn’t play good. You know it’s a good course when you can still have fun when your off your game. Don’t judge a book by its cover, this course was worth the money. Can’t wait to play here again.
This course was nice
Very nice course open and fun to play
Had a great time and the staff was great.
I would play this course again
