Great course
A good challenge for amateur golfers, ruff is thicker than it looks, very enjoyable course to play. I'll play it again when I visit my daughter. Midwesterners, this ain't the ruff we see each week!! Overall it's a great course to play!
Beautiful Course
This is the 3rd time I have played the Ballantyne Hotel Course. It is quickly becoming one of my favorites!!! It's a little pricey, but well worth it for the experience you get. Everything is extremely well kept. And the course is in top condition!!! I take customers to play golf often, and this is the most requested course!!!
Great fun course
Course is in excellent condition, greens and fairways were perfect roughs a little high still a great place to play
Skylar Loved It
Skylar loved Ballantyne and she even got to see Jessica's famous bush!
Gonna Miss Jessica's Bush
Attached is a pic of the infamous bush Jessica sank her impossible birdie from back in 2012:
That shot cost me $75 and I still believe she somehow cheated!
Played on August 7th, 2020. Course is in better condition than some reviews indicate. Greens, Tees, and Fairways were great. Bunkers were good. I've played here from time-to-time for 20+ years. It's a great track, despite changes to some holes (2, 3, and 8 in particular) several years back. A bit overpriced in the market, but a great golf day out every now and then. Pace of play was OK, just a tad slow on the last 4 or 5 holes.
I'd play it again before it closes if I get the chance.
Good course, but pace is not managed
Course is in good shape, but expect a 4.5-5 hour round as there is no marshal to keep pace of play. For an $80+ round fee that is unacceptable.
Assume this is due to the course closing in the next year or two, no extra attention.
I CRIED
Bought my 1st house to be here
Spent 7 years playing this course
Taught my nephews & GFs how to play here
I'm gonna miss every blade of grass
Great place to play round of golf
I have played here before, I would recommend this course to anybody who is visiting Charlotte and wants to have a good course to have a round of golf, Great place to play, staff was very friendly, golf course is in excellent shape, It was very hot when I played, they had facility for water, which was great.
We're all gonna miss Jessica's bush.
