Landis Creek Golf Club
About
Just a short drive from King of Prussia, Landis Creek Golf Club (previously known as Limerick Golf Club) is situated right along the border of Chester County and Berks County. Opened in 1965, the course has a traditional layout that is player friendly enough for all skill levels. In 2012, the golf course changed ownership and also underwent a major renovation. The greens were reconditioned and the irrigation system improved, which has elevated the conditions of the course. The layout is a classic links design that is mostly open though there are a few mature trees that call for accuracy. Strategically placed bunkers provide challenges throughout but you won't find much water on this golf course, though there are two lakes that come into play occasionally. Landis Creek Golf Club has some tricky holes but overall it's gentle enough for beginners to approach with confidence.

Not bad little pricey for friday AM
36 hours removed from a few inches of rain, so conditions were expected to be below optimal. Staff was aware and apologetic of that.
Friday 830 tee time and no one chasing us down or holding us up.
Great staff, interesting layout
This is a great course for the price (comparatively speaking) Every hole is different, some very challenging but there are some holes in which to score on. Pace of play is solely up to the players on the course as this course lends itself to quick play.
Refund request
Showed up and they were “closed.” Said no carts could go out due to light rain in the morning. Signs posted read “cart path only today” All surrounding courses were open with cart path only.
Pro shop unlocked but empty. Had to walk inside restaurant to find an employee. He told me that GolfNow should have alerted me. He also said he would put me in for refund. How do I go about being compensated. Had to go to another course
Flat course, no real change from hole to hole
Whether you’re playing a par 3, 4, or 5, all holes feel pretty similar. Sam uphill shot onto a wide fairway with a downslope to a slightly raised green. Nothing spectacular and the poor drainage combined with half the course being red clay mud or under construction sections doesn’t help. Even for winter golf this wasn’t up to standards
Bring a GPS
Hardly any yardage markers out there. Got a GolfNow hot deal for forty bucks and that was a good deal. Don’t think I would pay much more than that for this course. Not bad, greens are decent. All in all I would definitely play again for forty bucks
Course Needs a Lot of work.
A few years ago this was a very nice course. The last 3 rounds here have it has been in less than stellar conditions. Last year I figured it was lack of maintenance funding from the covid shutdown, but this year is even worse. Tee boxes have not been aerated a in a long time, need to be leveled, are hard clay and look like they have been cut with a weekwacker. Bunkers are all basically raked waste bunkers right now, and Fairways had tall tuffs of grass randomly here and there.
The staff, bar and restaurant are the best part of this place. Really Hope this place makes a turnaround because it can be a really great course.
Keeps Getting Better
The course conditions continue to improve since new ownership took over a few years ago. The only real issue is the trees are overgrown in some parts, which makes some shots ridiculous (Especially 11 and 16).
In Great Shape
Course was in fantastic shape. Just need people to fix their own ball marks on the greens
