Need to Play
Only get to play this course a couple times a year, but other than the few holes that jump out and inflate my score (not always the same 3 or 4), I love the layout of this course. Playing it in March created some challenges when some par 4s played as par5s! Course should only get better as the temps increase.
Monday morning outing
First to tee off of the day. Flatbush has always been my favorite course to go. Great layout and conditions. I guess it's the offseason, no white tee boxes. The only Con I saw was the bunkers have not been raked by players. One time, my ball sat inside a deep hole and I almost cannot find it. Everything else is good.
Ok for the price
This is a nice course for the average player. Staff is nice. Pace can be a little slow but overall decent day.
Wet Course
The layout of the course is pretty good. The greens are very good. The problem with this course is that it does not drain well. After a rain it probably takes over a week to dry out completely and there are some holes that are just plain muddy.
This course is in excellent shape !
Clubhouse staff was very friendly. The course is in excellent shape. Fairways well cut and greens rolling very true. This was the 5th time playing Flatbush this year and has always been enjoyable. Pace of play is very good. Good mix of open holes and water to test your skills. I highly recommend playing this course.
Nice day
Course and greens were in great shape. Staff friendly and welcoming. Driving range is nicely priced with a small warm up bucket under 5$. Course is very open, with water in play on 2-3 holes. Good mix of par 5s on the course. Had a great pace of play when I visited during the week.
Been wanting to play this course for a while
Very nice! Fairways were in great shape. Will play here again.
Long course, but a good walk
We had the course to ourselves as the forecast was not good. However, the rain never arrived and we had no issues at all. Played in a twosome walking, in 3:20. Greens had been punched fairly recently, and with the dampness were very slow. At least 5 of the par 4s were playing over 400 yards. The front 9 was especially long, nearly 300 yards longer than the back from the white tees. Mostly rolling and gentle hills made for a nice walk with our pull carts. We will be back.
