Blue/Ridge at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club
About
Nestled in the rolling hills of northeastern Pennsylvania, Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club offers 27 holes of championship golf that were carefully carved from woodlands and valleys. There are no parallel fairways throughout the entire course, giving each hole a secluded setting. The golf course offers plenty of variety, which has made it a popular venue for outings and tournaments. The holes are divided into nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Blue/Ridge Course is both scenic and challenging. The courses are almost equal in length but the Blue nine is considered slightly more difficult, although the Ridge nine possesses two of the few water holes at the club. Mature trees frame most of the holes and there are also strategically placed bunkers along the greensides.

Gem in Central PA
I live on the west coast of NJ and believe it or not, there are an abundance of golf courses within a hour's drive. The Blue ridge Trail is about a 90 minute drive on 80. How does a course amass such a high rating in the wilds of PA? BRT is a SPECTACULAR golf facility. Grass practice facility and a modest clubhouse but over delivers on GOLF. I didn't get to play the 3rd nine, Trail, but judging by Ridge and Blue, it no doubt will exceed expectations. The ONLY nit I would Pick is the Pace of Play. REALLY slow. 18 took close to 5 hours. No good with Standard-time prevailing. Good thing I cleared my calendar and enjoyed a perfect Fall day.
Great layout decentconditions for November golf in NE Pennsylvania.
A little wet. Two holes were closed to cart traffic. Greens had not filled in completely from aeration. Some leaves to deal with in the rough. Still a great bargain and superb layout.
Course to myself
A drizzly fall day meant that I had the course to myself. Nice layout and great conditions for early November
Pace of play
Pace of play must be monitored closer. A threesome was holding up 3 foursomes.
Great layout.
The course is beautiful even into late October the guy in the pro shop was cool
Great place!
I play here a dozen times a year and condition’s are always excellent. Pace of play was perfect with no one in front or back of us.
Highly recommend!
Great place to play
Conditions are always excellent. Pace of play was SUPURB!! Nobody in front of us, nobody in back. Usually it’s a 5 to 5 1/2 hour round. Of course the gps on the cart said we were 11 minutes behind but it was an excellent autumn day and we were enjoying it!
I’ll be back!
Wonderful course in excellent show beginning to end !
Too many players - 3 hour front 9
We have played this fine course several times. Conditions are always very good. This round the pace of play was horrid - 3 hours for 9 holes - often 3-4 groups on a hole. I told the starter it was awful and he said "I don't blame you, we have 384 rounds booked today". We left after nine.
Perfect Afternoon
Met a friend here and we're both from out of state so this place was about 1/2 way. Could not have enjoyed our round more. We played 18 in about 4 hours. Heavy rain
the two days before made it damp but totally playable. Nice variety of holes\layout and aside from a few bunker that were still wet it was a wonderful round and we will be back.
