Rolling Fields Golf Course in Murrayville, also known as "The Fields" to regulars, boasts fast greens that are some of the area's best. The layout stretches across rolling green hills sprinkled with mature trees. There are plenty of interesting holes but the golf course is player-friendly enough for beginners to approach with confidence. The front nine is fairly straightforward with only trees and the occasional bunker causing trouble. The course gets more challenging on the back nine, which starts with the longest par 4 on the backside. Accuracy is a necessity on this tough hole with a narrow fairway and small green. Rolling Fields Golf Course boasts one of western Pennsylvania's premier finishing holes, a stunning par 4 with a lake that guards the front of the green. Even with all that the course offers, it is still one of area's most affordable.

A Great Day To Play Golf
I have played this course before and it is a beautiful course to play.
I enjoy the layout of the course. It is very kind to senior citizens especially the layout of the course.
The greens are tricky and kept up very well. There is not one thing wrong about the course. Trust me when o say you will enjoy yourself.
Nice course
The name of the course says a lot. Most holes are blind shots. Fairways are wide, has plenty of doglegs both left and right. Most fairways have slopes due to all of the hills which add to your ball placement when you hit. Something that lands in the middle will roll Everyone on the course was friendly which makes it an enjoyable experience
It seems as if it is shorter than a lot of other courses but still challenging
Was a good value for money
Good Memorial Day
Played this course for the first time with some family members on Memorial Day and the pace of play was excellent, every hole had a group but never had to really wait to hit a shot. Layout was fine, a little short but not terribly bad. Greens rolled true and the break was a little deceiving at times but overall a good, simple 18 holes for anyone to play.

Fast greens but great value!
The greens were incredibly fast. The layout is a little weird in that if you are on the tee box you have a chance of getting hit by golfers approaching the previous green. The tee boxes are uneven as well. Other than those nit-picky details, a fun (albeit, short) course with a great value.

A day with my brother
We played the course on a cool overcast day .we were greeted by a friendly man at the pro shop.We were able to get out right away . we paired with the pair playing behind us .they were playing from the tips .but that is ok by me .it improved the pace.the course was in good condition the greens were still bumpy but improving since my last visit .we had a good time .Don't pass up on this local gem .

Great Track
We had a chance to golf here during the summer and we enjoyed it very much. Pace of play was very quick and the conditions were excellent. We will be back when we come back to visit family again.

COW PASTURE
The conditions of this course are deplorable. There was NO care taken in maintaining anything except the clubhouse. The ground was like hitting off of route 8 and the cart paths were bone jarring!!

Nice Greens
The greens were very nice. They held the shot. Fairways were burned up some. Tees were decent. The layout of the back nine was challenging.

Don't expect anything fancy
Overall course is alright. Great for the price especially if you can get out in the $20-25 range. The conditions aren't the best. Nice greens, which makes it bareable. However, tee boxes and fairways need some work. I'd play again if I was looking to play cheap and it was convinent. Wouldn't go out of my way to play it again.

only problem it took 5 hrs to play 18 holes need ranger to speed up play

Great course. Rough paths
This is a great course. For the value, no course will compare to rolling fields. The guys here are extremely friendly and the course is actually very nice. The cart paths are a little rough but it's okay. Great greens and great overall condition!

This course is great for easier playing.
I have played this course over the years for about twenty years off and on. The improvements make this course fun, and can be a challenge. I like the easy access to where I live. This is a course I would recommend to my friends. It is one of my favorites courses in the area.

Poor Pace of Play. Will not be back
Second time at this course. Went earlier this year in May, which resulted in a 5.5 hour round off 18 for my twosome. I decided to hope that that was an outlier and give it another shot because of the relatively fast greens and cheap tee times....another mistake, as our round took over 5 hours again for a twosome. Not worth the time to sit and get cold/stiff at each tee box. They need a starter or course manager to help improve pace, or book tee times farther apart. Fool me one, shame on you. Fool me twice...
A fairly short and scenic course
My friends and I enjoyed our round at Rolling Fields. We played shortly after some heavy rain so it certainly affected the course.
The course is on the shorter end of the scale, even if you play off the blues. The greens were inconsistent with speed, some were extremely fast and others were quite slow but i will put that down to the heavy rain before we played.
Overall it is a nice course with great views on the back 9. Staff and service were good and it would be perfect for novice to intermediate golfers

Great staff, very good greens
Layout is pretty short and there are a quite a few dead straight par 4s, but also a number of great holes with real character. Rough is cut short. Overall, setup and conditions keep pace of play up which was great for a really hot afternoon.
