Rolling Fields Golf Club
About
Rolling Fields Golf Course in Murrayville, also known as "The Fields" to regulars, boasts fast greens that are some of the area's best. The layout stretches across rolling green hills sprinkled with mature trees. There are plenty of interesting holes but the golf course is player-friendly enough for beginners to approach with confidence. The front nine is fairly straightforward with only trees and the occasional bunker causing trouble. The course gets more challenging on the back nine, which starts with the longest par 4 on the backside. Accuracy is a necessity on this tough hole with a narrow fairway and small green. Rolling Fields Golf Course boasts one of western Pennsylvania's premier finishing holes, a stunning par 4 with a lake that guards the front of the green. Even with all that the course offers, it is still one of area's most affordable.

Wide enough to slice.
Nice easy course to score well. Not long from senior tees. Well maintained green even for this time of year.

Come and enjoy a round of golf. Bring your friends so you enjoy the after play at the club house inside or outside. Beer is the drink Come on your beer and food is waiting.
Interesting but needs work
Several holes were completely blind tee shots. I couldn't tell the fairways from the rough. The first par 5 is a dog leg right blind from the tee, and still blind from the second shot. No markers to guide you. Although it's a short par 5, even a long hitter would have a blind second shot to an almost impossible green. This wasn't even the 1st handicap hole. Number 18 is the #1 handicap and I birdied it. A little improvement on the course could make this Nice attraction.
The Course plays Well After Rain.
I have recommendations this course before and today I played early morning. In fact I was the first to tee off. The course was ready to be played. Best advice keep your head down.

HOW TO ENJOY GOLF?
This course has an amazing layout. Hard, easy and difficult. The course is set up women, elderly people and the best players.
The advantage is yours. Come on down and give it a try. There’s water but no sand. They are constantly cutting the grass and on a occasion they trim some of the rough.
Enjoy the hours of golf after with a cold beer and a dog.
