Oak Lake Golf Course

I scheduled by t time on golf now. I think this is a diamond in the rough. I started at 820 finished at 1130. I had no one in front or behind me. I played at my leisure.

The course plays short but will punish you if you aren't hitting them straight. The fairways are tight on most holes and require you to hit targets on several holes. It's fun to play, especially when you are hitting them straight as you can rack up pars, but if you are not, you are chipping out to the fairway on most holes.

Played this course several time over the past few years. Course is always in good shape and the staff makes it a great day.

Due to lots of recent rain, course had some water in traps and low areas, but overall, was in great shape. Very friendly staff! Overall, a great time on Father's Day.

Walked into the clubhouse said hi and the lady was miserable it seemed she didn't want my groups business. The course is hilly I would say 90% of the course is on a hill. But the holes are fun to play the par 4s are short I drove the green on two of them .

This course was in bad shape. The "fairways" were very long. We hit balls that were hit on the edge of the rough and could not find the ball. The majority of the holes are not visible from the tee and finding our ball was near impossible. The greens were so high, you needed to crush the ball to even make it to the hole. There were a few holes where it was unclear which direction the hole was, and without a clear fairway, it was more of a guessing game. The man working the front desk appeared to have never seen a "new" golfer to his course. We used a GolfNow deal and he did not initially honor the deal. The place looked like it was closed when we got there at 8am, nobody was even there. We ended up only playing about 12 holes as we were fed up with the course conditions. I will not be a return customer. I was very disappointed. I'm not sure why anyone would spend $37 to play this course, it is simply not worth it.

We found the course to be very challenging, but not unbeatable....the staff were very friendly and helpful. worth every penny

Very enjoyable round! Quiet course, decent condition for time of year and after receiving rain recently. Very nice staff. Great value! $30 on a Saturday is awesome! I would definitely play here again.

It was a great course for the value. The greens were well kept and the pace of play was fast. It's a short course but overall a great course

Very hilly course with sloping fairways. Many blind tee shots. Would not recommend this course.

Got caught behind some extreme duffers on back nine . On #10 they were going for the 13th green which isn"t exactly marked very well , so ,we and the foursome in front of us gave them that. But the rest of the way it was slow going for the few groups playing behind them. play moved pretty good on front nine.Else wise greens were decent ,and

Chalenging course in a country setting with scenic views. Family owned and maintained. Always in good condition. Its a course I choose to play every year.

Unfortunately, my wife and I played this course on an October day after some torrential rain. The combination of soggy turf, lotsa soft wet turf, wind, and a whole lotta fallen leaves made for a very frustrating day......so frustrating that we called it quits after 14 holes. And thanks to the rain, the fairways were not fairways. They hadn't been mowed in a while. I don't blame the course...we probably shouldn't have been out there in the first place. When we pulled into the parking lot a short time after 11 AM, there were no cars (as in zero) in the parking lot. That should have told us something. But since we booked with GN, we were obligated.

I've only played this course one other time and I remember it as a nice place to spend an afternoon. Yesterday wasn't that day.

I would play this course again anytime in the future! It was in very good shape and for the time of year the ground was clear of leaves for the most part. Not to mention the Golf Now deal was GREAT!
