Great Par 3 course
Saw the one review and thought the course was going to be poor condition. All 18 greens were in amazing condition when I went. They offer golf carts, but wouldn't make sense to get one with how small and close the holes are. You hit from a hitting mat. Great course for beginners and advanced players to just bring a wedge and putter.
Highly recommend checking it out
Rough and Scruffy - but Hey! For $7.50? Why not?
This scruffy par 3 course is located in a very scenic public multipurpose park with a variety of activities including horseback riding, swimming pool, paddle boats, and 2 prestigious, well kept golf courses. The par 3 definitely is not one of them, though. Driving range looks nice and staff friendly, but the course itself looks tired and neglected. The tees are AstroTurf mats, which are getting threadbare and matted, and the putting greens are the worst that I’ve ever seen (although I did play in March). There was some major tree removal recently and several areas were a muddy mess. It is VERY open regarding the layout, and a little hard to know where the next tee will be. Lots of kids and parents, which is perfect for this venue - holes are all about 90 yards or less (there is nothing ‘executive’ about it) with a little water from nearby Lake Mallard (where the paddle boat rental is). People, especially the kids, were having fun (for the price of a bucket of balls) and there are a lot of very new and comfortable park benches everywhere. I will try it again this summer - for $7.50, why not?
