About
Grand View Golf Club in North Braddock is one of the area's most challenging layouts. The course's 160 acres were carefully carved from a woodland hilltop. From its perch, the golf course overlooks the Mon Valley with views stretching to the Edgar Thompson facility, Western Pennsylvania's first and last major steel mill. The distinctive layout will test your creative shot-making skills. It may seem relatively short at 6,111 yards from the back tees but it feels much longer thanks to the rolling fairways and undulating greens. The tight fairways are lined with cliffs, brush, and trees, leaving little room for error. You should also be prepared for forced carries and tricky doglegs. Grand View Golf Club can be punishing for the low handicapper, but high handicappers will find this course to be a unique test of their skills.

Great course but challenging
Staff was super friendly and helpful. Fun course but challenging with great holes. Definitely recommend this course if you like a challenge
Great All-Arounder
The only gripe I have with this course is the tee boxes could have used a bit of cleaning up. Other than that this course was fairly challenging and a good time. Would definitely play again
Placement golf
The course is very tight. Only a few holes where I should have used my driver.
Terrible Conditions
Grand View is a nice course during certain times of the year. The ‘Twilight Hour’ deal is a tough one to pass up however the conditions of the course as of recent are terrible. Not a patch of alive grass on the course besides select areas and the greens. I’d wait to play this course until the Fall and/or early Spring.
Great Course
Flew into Pittsburgh with my girlfriend for the Steelers game and wanted to play golf. I called the course two days in advance and was told they would rent us clubs no problem. We get there and they didn’t have sets. They put together two sets with missing clubs. I’m a lefty and had shared in advance. My makeshift set didn’t have a driver, pitching wedge and the putter was an old school miniature golf looking club. Both sets were tore up and dirty. I mean dirt all over the face, no joke. We bought used balls as they had run out of new ones. The employees were really nice but don’t tell us you have us covered only to severely disappoint. We took a Lyft for 30 minutes and he was gone so we decided to play.
The course. Beautiful and challenging. We’ll manicured with amazing views of the city!!!

The course is narrow but fun, I enjoyed the challenge. The price is a little high but I'm picky. I would recommend this course
