The Inn At Pocono Manor - East Course
About
The Inn at Pocono Manor offers two championship golf courses, conveniently located less than two hours from New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia. Surrounded by the beauty of the Poconos, the inn has earned a spot on the National Registry of Historic Places. George Fazio designed the West Course, and the East Course was Donald Ross' creation. The East Course, the original layout, has hosted a number of legendary players, including Arnold Palmer and Sam Snead, since 1912. Ross carefully sculpted the mountainous landscape to create a course that is both challenging and memorable. It is shorter and tighter than the other course but they are equal in level of difficulty. The golf course is defined by the interesting water hazards that come into play on several holes, but the scenic views are also a draw.

Average Public Course
Well maintained fairways and greens. Hot Deal was a good value. No sand makes for an easier round. Need to drive fairly straight or bring a lot of golf balls.
The price is right
Greens are good. Fairways still need work but you can always find a patch of grass to place your ball on.
Wish it was in better shape. Love the layout.
Someday…..
Hole in One
First time playing Pocono Manor. On the third hole par 3, 193 yards, a blind shot with Calloway Mavrik 7 wood, dropped in for hole in one, witnessed by the threesome on the 4th tee box and my play partner. What a day!
First time solo
Never played here since the online tee times require 2 or more and I'm always playing by myself but visited the course early on a wednesday and was allowed right on. Really interesting course pretty well taken care of. Greens were super fast took a little time to adjust. I'd say half the holes are pretty straight forward and wide open pretty simple for the average golfer but the other half were tough blind shots having to think through every club and swing it was really difficult on some holes. I can imagine this on the weekends creates insane wait times though so I doubt I'd ever play here on a Saturday or Sunday. Mid week though this course is awesome, and starter was also really helpful and nice.
Fast, dry conditions due to lack of rain. Hard to get a tee in the ground. Greens firm and lightning quick. Fairways in good shape. Great staff, especially the starter who is on top of everything. Always a fun day of golf at the manor.
Great Value
Definitely playing again soon. Watch out for hole #3.! 😝
Wet and wonderful
Love this course... even in the rain. Pretty much had the course to ourselves because of the threat of rain. In the end we had some light drizzle.
I like this course because of the diversity of the holes and the challenges that presents.
The course is in very good shape and drains well in bad weather.
i do recommend this course and will return.
Wet and cold
Even though it rained earlier and temperatures in 50's, the course was in good condition. The pace of play was pretty slow. The scenery and layout were pleasant for early spring. The greens were challenging. Being my first time there, I learned some things. I do plan on going back when weather is better.
Early spring golf.
It’s been along time since I’ve been able to play golf in April at the PM. The staff has done a great job in getting the course ready. With little rain and snow melt just warm weather and sun shine. Keep up the good work guys.
Great bang for the buck
Course in great condition. Super fast greens. Fairways in great shape. 3 hr. 20 minute round. Friendly pro shop & starter. Wife & I will definitely play a few more times this year. Course has lots of character ( hills / ponds / streams & some short but challenging par 3’s.)
Green. And Sceneries
Beautiful property
Cart paths real rough
But glad to have them
Course drains well had 5 inches of rain two days prior
