Good for price
Not a very expensive course, so I'll come here pretty often. It's a relatively easy course, so it's a great place to play some practice rounds when you need to work on something.
Only drawback is that the clubhouse staff is very rude and cranky. Almost seemed like they were upset they were taking my money.
Nice Course with a Friendly Feel
Great staff; good condition (just watch for ongoing improvements); interesting layout and a great weekday value with GolfNow HotDeal.
Greens recently aerated so putting was a little more challenging today but we always enjoy playing at Fox Hollow.
Pretty good
Decent course. Very small greens and a bit rough but that is to be expected this early in the season. Pretty open and very forgiving. Will come again.
Loved Fox Hollow
This was an awesome course. Not overly nice, but it's a public course and the maintenance was pretty darn good. Quite a few dog legs which can get redundant, but for some reason they worked on this course. The layout and flow of the holes was terrific. The back 9 is completely different from the front. Lots of memorable holes...short par 3s, long par 5s, water, an island hole, it was great!
The pace of play of kind of slow though mostly due to a twosome in front of us that would take forever looking for balls and they were just very lethargic in all aspects of the game. We got held up on nearly every hole. But we finished 18 as it was getting dark so mission accomplished.
$25 on a Saturday afternoon. Great bargain. Would absolutely and probably will play again.
Fox Hollow
If you are looking for a cheap mid week round you can't go wrong here. Check their website or teeoff, but do not pay full price. I play here 5-6 times a year due to how cheap it is. Pace of play can be frustrating at times due to no rangers being out on the course.
Overall it's just an average course with a couple decent holes. Nothing especially memorable about the course but the price is usually right to make it worthwhile.
Fox Hollow great day
Course has come a long ways over the years greens are so much better good job
excellent for weekend deal hunter
Have played reasonable number of times, mostly with great deals. $24 for weekend morning, I cannot complain at all.
A few tee box were not really full of grass, but green is reasonable speed rolling well, not really any wield divot.
Course is in great shape, playing fair speed (3.5-4hr).
Only defact is, bunker sand was somewhat thin.
great course with the help from GolfNow.
Very nice course, I got a hot deal from golfNow so it only cost me 25 dollars which always helps. The course was nicely maintained, and the grounds crew would stop working when you were taking shots. Also for a course that is relatively inexpensive, there are some very long holes including one that is 630 from the blue tees. Nice to be able to break out the driver on alot of holes. would play here again.
Local course in Bucks County
Love this course, it's about 15 minutes from my house. Fairways are excellent . Challenging greens. Recommend to anyone for sure.
Fox Hollow review
First time I used your site ... Thanks for the privilege of paying a fee to be charged $2 more than the actual greens fees at the golf course.
Fortunately, they charged me their reduced rate when I arrived.
Decent course with some interesting par 3's
I enjoyed the course and all, definitely would play it again
Nice find
Great golf course. great practice range (real grass!). soft, maintained greens. nice, well-maintained course
Almost There!
The layout is nice, but the overall course maintenance is poor! Too much inconsistancy between holes. Here are my complaints:
1. Way too many Acorn Nuts everywhere on the course.
2. Lack of irrigation and drainage creates poor playing conditions and hard ground. However in some low areas there is just a swamp for a fairway!
3. The rough is entirely too long for this Fall weather and all the leaves, finding your ball is almost impossible!
4. Bunkers need drainage and raking!
Good Course really poor fairways
If you like soft little greens with small bunkers guarding the green, this is the course for you! However the fairways and tee box were in REALLY bad shape. There was a lot of dead grass and dirt that you could tell they were trying to grow grass. I golfed with a random guy, and he said the course was in the worst shape he had ever seen it in the past 20 years he golfed there. While that could hinder from the experience I was not a big fan of the small super hilly greens. I have learned throughout the round that even on par 5s just hit irons off the tees (200-230 yards) and you will almost always be 170 to 100 yards in your approach shot. Even with a stupid hard par 5 on the back, I would suggest playing at least one for the price.
Poor conditions
Very hard fairways due to lack of watering.
No ranger to move along an extremely slow twosome that had entire course backed up by the second nine.
Pretty good bang for the buck
Everything was great. Don't mind playing course again. Fairways were great and the greens were excellent (speedy). Will definitely tell friends this is a good course to play.
Nice place
Scenic good layout great value for a hot deal. Ill be back soon for the right rate. Carts could use a little attention.
Nice, challenging course
Course was in good condition, greens a bit quicker than they look and feel. Challenging layout, doglegs and hills add to shot process. Speed of play picked up on back nine after ranger appearance. Overall a good Golfnow.com value.
Absolute goat track.
Reserved 3 some for $49 each on golf now. They charged all groups ahead $42. Great. Had a 4th friend join early a.m. "Sorry, we paired you with a 4th, your friend can't play." Fairways are hard like concrete. Greens are slow. Fairways too close to each other. Tee boxes too close to previous green. Too long wedge shot from group behind shattered coffee mug while it sat in the cart. Discourteous staff. Worst bloody mary I've ever tasted. We quit after 12 holes. Best decision I made that morning. Absolute goat track. Don't play here with a handicap less than 20.
improved
We have played Fox Hollow for years and the course lately has had many improvements. Greens are in great shape. A few holes the fairways are rough but you can tell they are being worked on.
Overall...would recommend.
