On The Ball Ownership
My wife and I were enjoying a pleasant round of golf at Fox Hollow. Then the wind picked up and the sky darkened. We heard a horn blowing but weren't sure if it was the signal to head for the clubhouse. Then a member of the staff came riding our way to warn us of the approaching storm. We made it to the clubhouse just in time! The heavens opened up, accompanied by lightning and thunder. Thanks to the excellent effort of the staff we stayed dry - and out of danger!
Great value for the money
Fox Hollow is a fairly easy play with some interesting holes and no "tricky" holes to speak of. You can let the big dog eat enough times, but many greens are guarded with bunkers that warrant accurate approach shots. Most greens have enough undulation to force an accurate read - no mini golf here.
One disappointment was the condition of the cupholes, the edges of which were ragged on several.
Nice pace of play and course condition, although not much sand in the bunkers.
Eh
This course is very bland. I drove an hour to play it and the drive definitely wasn't worth it. The greens were slow, but consistent. The course layout is very cliche, no unique holes. The pace of play is awful, not a ranger to be seen. Fairways were covered in water.
Decent layout and conditions
Decent layout and conditions but the green was on the slow side as they did not press it due to heavy rains the night before.
I've been playing this course regularly for close to 8 years now, and I have never had a more enjoyable round. The pace of play was perfect (especially for a Sunday morning!), not too fast or slow. It has been very rainy lately, so there were some wet spots on the holes that traditionally don't drain well and the bunkers were all extremely wet, but really the course was in fantastic shape. I've been playing this course for quite a while now, and can honestly say I've never seen it look better than yesterday. It's still a bit pricey for my liking, but it was a great day overall. I usually only play this course because it's so conveniently located for me, but I really can't wait to get back and play it for the first time in quite a while!
It was a special day of enjoyable and challenging golf. The tees were up for winter use which made the course play easier. There is a nice variety of holes and scenery.
decent conditions
for the time of year and level of course, it was fine. I like course design. Conditions better than expected.
so nice course
really enjoyed game.
beautiful day and nice course
Nice Course
Greens in Great Shape! Staff is friendly and pace of play was decent. Look forward to playing here again.
Perfect day
good course , considering the lack of rain. great price from Golf Now. will play again.
Fun place to play, Good value for the money
Have not played here for years but it was a lot of fun play here again. The course layout has not changed but the place is in good shape. I played with two my sons (12, 15) and my godson. Even playing from different tee boxes we still were able to maintain a decent pace of play. Greens were is great shape and has subtle but fair speed and breaks. Keep an eye out on GolfNow for deals and you can play (with a cart) 18 for the same price as large bucket of balls at the range.
the best
The course is in excellent condition. The staff are outstanding and the buffet lunch is really good and reasonable. Like almost every course in this area has a mushrooms problem. It was hard to tell the ball from the mushrooms . This is good in a way , it showes they feed their grass with good food.
Very good playing conditions
I play golf 3-4 times a week all over the Lehigh Valley and the greens were rolling just as good as any course i've played this year. I truly recommend this course.
Short in length , not very demanding
Course has doglegs and undulated greens, not tricked out.
Pleasant surprise
Hadn't played here for a couple of years. Pleasantly surprised to see how much better the course condition was. Only drawback was the poor condition of the cart paths. Good value otherwise. Will go back again.
