Gotta Love Spring Golf
At first I thought $50 was too much to pay. Little did I know that the course was going to be in such Great shape! Tee boxes are level and well . Maintained, fairways and rough were in excellent condition, greens were undulating and faster than other courses I’ve played recently; allowing a fun and challenging play.
Great Cousre!!
Just played Saturday April 3rd and course was in great shape as usual and the green of the grass was really popping.Every time I play here it’s always a good time and the course is always in great shape and that is do to the workers Pro-Shop, the Starter and ground maintenance guys any other workers. Staff one of the friendliest I’ve seen at a course. At any other courses most the workers are a bunch of ignorant stuck up lil snobs, Not at Tanglewood
Very friendly Fun course,
I have always had fun here. Loved the resteraunt (till Covid came along), they just keep the snack bar opened now.
Every part of your game gets challenged here.
So Many Hacks!
Probably one of the most dangerous courses I’ve ever played. Yes, the holes are narrow, but man all it takes is a little common golf etiquette to yell FORE! Must have had +10 balls go flying by our cart or over our heads with no warning.
Staff was friendly, greens in great condition, tee boxes were awful. You definitely get your $40 worth.
Probably won’t play again.
Tanglewood
What a beautiful golf course. Conditions were EXCELLENT!. I drove an hour and 20 minutes to get there and would do it again in a heartbeat. In-cart iPads were a nice touch.
Course was in very good condition and a lot of fun to play, staff was very friendly, they checked on us a couple of times and did their best to keep up the pace of play. Will defitnely be back.
Super good value. Great course and staff.
Awesome course for exceptional value. Fairways are in great shape and the greens ran true. Great chili dogs....no joke. The joy of finding a pro-shop where they’re not all jerks. Rarity!!!!
Rainy but good!
It had been a while since I played at Tanglewood and, unfortunately, we got more rain than we expected. Still had a good day and the course was in great condition! Because of the rain we got a $5 discount which helped!
Nice track for a good price
Tangle wood is a good value. The grounds crew was working hard and it shows. Everything was pretty well maintained and only a few areas were lacking. The layout is simple, but kept my interest. Some of the holes on the back nine were a little gimmicky. I usually hate uphill par 3s, but the two on the back were actually good fun. The streams running through the fairways segment your shots so you have to plan your tee ball. Overall a nice time.
Hidden Gem
I've played at Tanglewood several times now and I always have a great time. Challenging course where you need all clubs, well maintained greens and bunkers. Carts with GPS are a very helpful feature that should be more common. Great value at snack bar.
Always worth the trip.
It’s an hour drive for me but I make the trip 4-5 a season because tangelwood is ALWAYS worth it!
70 degree day in November brought out a lot of players. The course was packed. Came in just under 5 hours with a late morning tee time.
Consistent Conditions are the reason I make the trip. Always above average. Greens were fast. I met a dude in the clubhouse from Florida. he asked about the driving range ( that is about a mile down the street from the course) and the course. Told him to expect pretty much what the reviews say. Tangelwood is a true “ Hidden gem “
