Northampton Valley Country Club
About
Northampton Valley Country Club, proudly owned by Northampton Township, the golf course first opened in 1963. It is well known among locals as one of the Greater Philadelphia area's best courses. The layout has a classic design with tree-lined fairways and gently sloped greens. Several strategically placed bunkers lurk along the greens and there are a few water hazards that come into play as well. The par-70 golf course is a manageable 6,400 yards from the back tees. It's a traditional design that is player friendly enough for all skill levels but there are risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low handicappers. In addition to the golf course, Northampton Valley has a driving range with new range balls which is open to the public and a 10,000 sq. ft. practice green with a pristine sand trap for patrons to work on their short game.

Terrible
No starter, sand traps hard as a rock, pace of play awful, way overpriced.
Greens were extremely slow, wouldn’t recommend for the normal price of $64. On a hot deal for 43...ehhh. Not gonna go back.
Great course in Bucks county
Course always in good condition. Challenging, with water and sand but reasonable to score on. The twilight rates with a cart are great value.
Amateur alterations
Overall the golf course was in good condition and areas that needed attention like a few greens from (last two years of neglect?) are coming back. What is unsettling is the amateur appearance in decisions to remove or fill in bunkers around the course. I am sure with all of this the course rating will suffer but...will the course call for a team to come and rerate it is the question? This has all the appearances of the township thinking they can run a golf course without a golf management team. Warminster tried it at Five Ponds and it wasn't successful.
fun
narrow so hit straight. nice conditions all around. well kept. decent on bunkers and terrain to overcome. greens were fast. I'd play here again. felt like it was slightly overbooked. we were either waiting for someone in front of us or have someone up our butts. finished in 4.5hrs so pretty avg pace for busy day
Great Course
This was the first time playing here. It was a very nice course. The weather was cloudy but nice as it was not hot.
Needs a lot of work
Course was recently moved to township owned. Needs a ton of work. Traps are the worst I have ever played . Greens were true but not in good shape. I won’t come back for a few years until work has been completed not worth it for this price on a weekday.
