Northampton Valley Country Club
About
Northampton Valley Country Club, proudly owned by Northampton Township, the golf course first opened in 1963. It is well known among locals as one of the Greater Philadelphia area's best courses. The layout has a classic design with tree-lined fairways and gently sloped greens. Several strategically placed bunkers lurk along the greens and there are a few water hazards that come into play as well. The par-70 golf course is a manageable 6,400 yards from the back tees. It's a traditional design that is player friendly enough for all skill levels but there are risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low handicappers. In addition to the golf course, Northampton Valley has a driving range with new range balls which is open to the public and a 10,000 sq. ft. practice green with a pristine sand trap for patrons to work on their short game.

Nice course but so slow
I booked as a single and went off around 8am. Sent out with three other guys and had a great round until we had to start waiting to tee off Bc of slow play in front of us on the second hole. The group ahead of us called the clubhouse to complain when we got to hole 5. 20+ min later the ranger came out. I love the course but a 5+ Hours for a round is terrible. I paid more to play early hoping to avoid the long round and it didn't pay off.
Nice course
Good lay out flat straight front nine and then a more challenging back nine. I would come back
Tough day
Course when I signed in said it was playing the back nine twice/cart path only. This was not on the offering before I purchased the round. The course of 18 holes is not normally a tough round but the back nine cart path only, twice was not as much fun. I have submitted this twice already so this is the third time posting this review. Where the other two went I don't know.
Tough day
According to pro shop, it was listed online that they had plugged the front nine and the round would be twice on the back nine but I'll be dipped if it was listed. Slow day.
Tough round.
Got to the course and was told when checking in that it would be cart path only, OK can deal with that. But they had aerated the front nine so we played the back nine twice. Proshop staff said it was listed when I made the tee time. that it would be the back nine twice. It must have been one of those "hidden" notices as I did not see it. Guys I played with were good guys. Had a good time but would have played elsewhere rather than twice on the back nine. The back nine always seems to play a lot tougher.
Not who they used to be!
After over 35 years of being a loyal customer with a permanent tee time with my church group of guys, we have been told that we can no longer have a permanent tee time without having a full membership. In the past, our social membership was all that had been necessary. We have given this club well over $250,000 in golf revenue and thousands more at the restaurant/bar yet that means nothing to them. To make matters worse, they did not inform us of this decision until I called yesterday to find out when our first week of the season was to start! It is very sad to see businesses that used to be family run in a customer-centric way, get bought (by the township) and now are run as a cold, commercial establishment that is only interested in squeezing ever dollar out of their clients! Very, very sad and disappointing!
Great course
Great course and nice staff. Pace of play was a little slower because of high winds but it’s to be expected.
Always a good go to spot ⛳️
Course was in really good shape, especially for January, the price was right (Hot Deal) and the staff could not have been nicer.
Prices are a bit high, for my budget, but the hot deal are definitely worth it
The course was great ….. however golfnow sucks , please credit me $80 for messing up my last round
Ranger Danger
Played this course many times. Never had an issues with rangers before. We are playing in the second week of February. There are players who apparently want to play speed golf ahead of us as there were only a couple of groups ahead of us for the beginning tee times in the morning. Around the 12th hole the rangers come around and tell us we need to speed it up because there are open holes in front of us. First of all, we were wayyyy above pace. Second of all it’s golf during February and you should be happy we’re here paying our own money to to play here in the dead of winter. We finished our 18 in under 4 hours and didn’t speed up because of what the ranger asked. It’s not necessary to drive around in your cart and tell us to speed up in the middle of winter when we’re already playing at a good pace just because there are holes open in front of us. Not sure if I’ll return after seeing that today. I’ll find somewhere more accommodating and appreciates the business.
