Northampton Valley Country Club
About
Northampton Valley Country Club, proudly owned by Northampton Township, the golf course first opened in 1963. It is well known among locals as one of the Greater Philadelphia area's best courses. The layout has a classic design with tree-lined fairways and gently sloped greens. Several strategically placed bunkers lurk along the greens and there are a few water hazards that come into play as well. The par-70 golf course is a manageable 6,400 yards from the back tees. It's a traditional design that is player friendly enough for all skill levels but there are risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low handicappers. In addition to the golf course, Northampton Valley has a driving range with new range balls which is open to the public and a 10,000 sq. ft. practice green with a pristine sand trap for patrons to work on their short game.

5 hour round of golf is not for me
I would suggest hiring several "Rangers" to keep the pace of playing moving. The Pro Shop should prepare a golf etiqutte pamphelt as to: not having the entire foursome drive to each others shot.
Haven’t played there in 20 years
Course is in so much better condition that I can remember. Definitely will play again soon.
Starter handling carts was excellent with updated information.
Not long but difficult. Shot making course.
Red October Round 1
Played 18 at Northampton Valley CC with my brother and two Phillers on a perfect day for golf or playoff baseball. Staff was super friendly and the course was in great condition!
Stayed afterwards to enjoy half price drafts and happy hour apps. Look forward to playing there again soon!
Love this course…but…
Challenging enough…
Beautiful fairways and greens….
Best-conditioned bunkers around…
Wonderfully friendly staff….great bar…
ONLY caveat….you use practically the same club on every par 3….we’d (our group) love to see tees moved on a couple of holes (3 and 18?)….
Worth the trip!
Great public course
Staff are always awesome! Course is great to play and a meal afterwards is a must!!
Holiday Weekend Golf
NVGC is a nice course. Easy to play for all levels. There are a few blind T shots you need to be cautious of and a few holes that seem to push you one way or the other. Everything is fit in a neat little box so there are some cries of Fore!
Most holes are tree lined so if you hit it long and wrong you could be chipping back to your fairway. 18th hole is a nice finishing hole. Par 3 over water. We played it at 175 yards. Fairways and greens were in good shape. The 19th hole looked fun and had a nice crowd for a holiday.
Bare greens
I really enjoy playing this course, the only complaint I had was everything was kind of firm , need a hammer on some of the tee boxes , but I enjoyed the company I was hooked up with and the pace was excellent , although we were told to speed it up because there was a gap between the group in front of us which wasn’t our fault if they played very fast
Aerated greens
Course was in great shape except for aeration of the greens. This seems early for fall aeration. I’m used to this occurring in mid to late September.
Good track
Course is in good shape. Tee boxes a bit rough but not terrible. Greens in good shape and roll pretty consistent. Course is a good layout, with plenty of challenges for all levels of players. A good take.
