Carolina Club, The

We were here on vacation in Rodanthe. Three of us played 18 holes. It was a great experience. The course has a great layout from scenery and hazards. I will play this course again if I return to the Outer Banks.

As someone that has playes several nice courses up in the north east as well as pretty much every course in OBX, this is the best so far. We got out 25 minutes earlier than our tee time, had the course to ourselves which happened to be in immaculate condition. The starter and cart crew were very friendly. Highly recommend!!

This course is a must play for golfers of average to highest level golfers. Josh will welcome you in the clubhouse and answer any questions you have and notify you of any relevant course conditions. The course is consistently in great shape and holes are unique and challenging. Pace of play is the best in the area, especially after 12 noon. Clubhouse food is great and the beer is always COLD. Highly recommended.

First, I have no complaints. Conditions were an 9 out of 10. A few tee boxes and #18 fairway needs some help but was not a factor in my play..Most holes have a nominal shot value except holes #7 and #9.

Course was in great shape, starter was very friendly. There are a few holes with water but it doesn’t come into play very often. Pace was great, it wasn’t very busy

First time I played the his course. We have a great time. The staff was very friendly and very professional. Can’t wait until I return next week.

Second time playing this week, very windy day but great course conditions and excellent pace of play. Really enjoy the layout, very fair course, pretty forgivable if you spray a few shots. Staff suggested we go off before several bigger groups, allowed us to have a great pace of play. Will be back. Thanks.

I have played this course many times before and continue to come back. Usually in good condition and the staff is outstanding. The course was in good shape, the pace was just very slow, had I played 18 would have been a 5+ hour round. I was a single so it is what it is. Great GolfNow hot deal. Thanks.

There had been a heavy rain the day before, so the course was quite wet and cart path only. Several spots did not seem to drain well, but overall, my round was a pleasant one. Fairways were generally wide, and the greens were decent. I'd love to play the course again some day when it's dry.

This was a good golf course but nothing was that exciting about it. It was a little burnt out and had quite a few area that needed attention but I was informed it hadn’t really rained in three weeks and that early fall is really the best time to play. Greens were good shape they were true but slow, probably due to not wanting them to burn out so they seemed a little long. People and staff were awesome though and were really nice and informative. There was a few very pretty holes with great view and I enjoyed the overall experience. Five stars for me is pristine conditions and this was not that.

I play this course once a year. And it’s consistently the best course I play all year. It’s always in great shape! Love the layout and the greens are challenging. Outside of the geese tearing up the fairway on 18 and the Carolina humidity, it’s almost perfect!

I love this course. My only complaint would be the driving range. Really limited to 7 iron and under. Course is great and always in great shape. Greens are always fast so hit the putting green.

Overall condition of the course for the time of the year was in good shape. Always an enjoyable round of golf. Staff is very friendly and helpful

This was my first round of golf for the year and unfortunately it was cart path only but maybe that helped me take my time and concentrate on my shots. Played bogey golf and could have scored better with it if I wasn't careless on a few shots. The greens grab the ball so you have to be aggressive with your chips to get the ball back to the flag. Wood play this course again and recommend it to others to definitely play this course.

Just popped in to North Carolina for a week vacation and decide to go out to Carolina Club golf course. Did not know really what to expect since this is my first time out at this course. Unfortunately because of previous rain it was cart path only but due to the cold and windy conditions and early time of the year there was limited people out on the course which for me was a good thing. The course grabs the ball a bit so I was not able to be aggressive enough to get the ball to the pin on some of my chips but all in all it was a good round of golf with some challenging holes. It just forces you to make some decent shots out there to score well. I would recommend this course to play for others who are down in the area and who have their sticks along.
