Horrible Fairway and Rough Condition.
This course requires some tender loving care. Fairway/rough were both chewed up. Green did not show consistent roll. I do not see myself back here again.
Good course from the tips...
Nice course, well kept. Low-mid handicapper should play from the back tees as middle or white tees are too short. Back tees make it a challenging 6400 yard course.
Beautiful course, not too difficult
Stonecrest golf course is great for intermediate golfers, not too hilly, many wide fairways
Good Track
Older Course. Most of the holes are lined with mature trees. Manucured underneath the tree to the point you will not lose a ball. The greens roled very true. At 39 on the weekend a great value
I would not recommend this course to my friends.
The staffs are very friendly and cordial, but the field needs careful maintainence.
Great Value
Memorial day for $33 with booking fee. Well maintained course with just the right balance of easy and hard holes. Definitely will be back this year.
great course for the price
Well maintained. Greens challenging but fair. Unique holes. Astetically pleasing. Need rangers as pace of play was horrendous; one five some a few groups ahead of us.
Easy from the farway, much tougher from the rough
Relatively level course. Not many side hill lies. The rough, while not high, was very dense - tough to get full contact on ball. Course is very well maintained, grass was recently reseeded in some bare spots. Friendly staff.
Good course for the price we paid $32.50 for 2 people
Short par 3s and par 4s par 5 where 500+ nice layout for the money would play it again for the same price!
Well maintained course
The fairways and greens are in very good shape, good value for the course fees.
grate course for seaniors.
We like this course it has good fair ways very nice greens. Some tee boxes could be more leval.Over all is a very good course for people with back problems to play.Keep up the good work.
good course for seniors and women.better players may find it to be too easy.
Stonecrest is a moderately priced public course, not overly difficult. Holes 16+17 are a good pair of long par 4 holes that help balance out some of the shorter holes. There is a little water and bunkers on many holes. Greens were a little above average for a public course, speed was ok. The pro shop and snack counter average at best, nothing fancy.
Always in great condition.
Course in excellent condition for mid October. The only issue I had was with pace of play on back nine. A player finishing ahead of me told me that groups had been put out on the back 9 in between groups. I don't know if true but pace was much slower on back than front.
Great fun to play
Good shape for fall round
Leaves were cleaned up all over course
mostly flat river bottom land
Beautiful course to play, soft fairways, well defined, good sized greens that hold. Not many hazards if you don't count the trees, just one difficult dogleg that required a well placed tee shot. Great for the money, but overall easy to play.
Good Test
This golf course is a good test of skill. Lots of short and long holes. Greens were in great shape.
Fun course
This is the flatest course in PA. My wife and I have played a few rounds here and always enjoy ourselves. I play the blue tees, about 6,450 yds.
Course is in nice shape.
