Heritage Hills Golf Resort
Heritage Hills Golf Course plays across the lush, rolling hillsides that York County is known for. The course has a classic design with some tough holes that will test even seasoned players. The layout also offers plenty of risk-reward opportunities that encourage you to carefully think about your strategy on each hole. The greens are large and undulating and the fairways are expertly manicured. Golfers will have to contend with the hilly terrain, particularly on the par-3 fifth and par-4 16th holes, which have the most dramatic elevation changes. Native vegetation accents the landscape and there are also interesting water features that come into play throughout. Heritage Hills Golf Course's pretty landscape provides some beautiful scenery to go along with your round, especially during the spring when the pear and cherry trees begin to bloom.

Great for the price
Playing the middle of March, The price was great, The course and greens were in good shape for this time of year. Today did not have to wait on any one or group in front of us. The facilities were very receptive and the staff was very helpful. Had a pleasant experience today. Indeed would recommend this facility for playing golf, Dining, and Staying at the hotel. The facility is definitely family oriented. I am sure , what ever the reason for coming to this facility, you would have a pleasant experience.
Great play for March
1st time playing this course, condition for this time of year was in good condition. Very good for price. Staff was great. Overall was a great experience. Definitely would recommend playing this course anytime.
Keep in mind its December 13th, 2018
I'm happy as ever to even be able to golf this time of year. I've played a lot at this course and today was my best round here, scored 79 with a 7 on hole 16. Maintenance crews are always out there on this course keeping it in tip top shape, my hats off to the maintenance crew. Temp today was mid 40's low wind, actually a very nice day for golf.
This course is always challenging
I love playing at Heritage Hills in York, Pa. They keep it in great condition.
Course is in great shape especially the greens.
Staff very friendly and professional
Our cart ran out of juice on 14th hole. We called pro shop and they swapped out our cart as we finished the hole. You can’t beat that
My golf partner and I promised to play this course again spring
Staff communication and responsiveness
In fairness to the younger gentlemen today behind the counter, he tried what was likely his best to make it better for us today after a staff member of his blatantly and arrogantly mismanaged his responsibilities and forgot about how to handle situations with discernment, critical thinking skills, honesty and integrity. In his mind, I believe that he felt he did all he could to diffuse the situation, accommodate us and check in on us albeit for a variety of reasons.
The staff member misrepresented the situation to his superiors as facts when they were not. His account was manipulative and not factual as he was socializing with the large group unaware of our presence at the starter’s station at which he was to be located. He never saw us until we decided to pull up to the first tee and started in communication in a confrontational manner with “Hey what are you guys doing here and who are you guys and oh you are late. Well you need to check in with me.” It was a total Barney Fife situation. Then the staff inside did not hear me out on the situation and I was insensed at this point after seeing the staff member skulk in there to cover his backside.
We will not return. At no time did GolfNow nor the course inform us of aeration on top of the other relationship management and communication issues that occcurred. All we wanted was to be placed to play in a way that was not behind a group of about 30 elderly gentlemen and enjoy a relaxing round of golf on a beautiful and unseasonably warm day. After the event, I wanted to be heard and not placated with an offer for a drink. I asked for nothing for free and do not expect nor accept handouts. I do expect respectful and honest customer service from all staff. The manager tried his best in a reactive way and not really in a proactive way. I appreciate the fact that he got us out there to play so we were not stuck as a twosome going nowhere all afternoon. Thank you to that younger manager.
This experience was very poor for a course with their reputation and for what they charge to play there normally, it is exceptionally poor. I cannot in good conscience recommend playing there after today’s experience. It is a shame because it is a challenging and interesting course normally in good shape.
I had a very enjoyable round on Halloween morning for only $13.00!!! The course was in great shape and I had an excellent lunch afterwards! They have a very friendly laid back staff as well. It’s a great place to play!!
All was perfect. Love this place. Chilly but perfect round of golf. Thanks.
Best conditions of the 20 different courses I played this year.
Course was in Great shape
The course was in great shape. The greens were the fastest I have seen at this course. They also rolled as smooth as ever. With the 20mph wind, it made for a challenging round.
Great greens-fast, rough somewhat high but
necessary as they have just seeded then to
promote new growth.
Outstanding pace of play
Nice course, good food. My only complaint was we were a threesome, with a twosome in front of us and a twosome behind us. They put a fourth with us. Why would you not make 2 threes?
