Heritage Hills Golf Resort
About
Heritage Hills Golf Course plays across the lush, rolling hillsides that York County is known for. The course has a classic design with some tough holes that will test even seasoned players. The layout also offers plenty of risk-reward opportunities that encourage you to carefully think about your strategy on each hole. The greens are large and undulating and the fairways are expertly manicured. Golfers will have to contend with the hilly terrain, particularly on the par-3 fifth and par-4 16th holes, which have the most dramatic elevation changes. Native vegetation accents the landscape and there are also interesting water features that come into play throughout. Heritage Hills Golf Course's pretty landscape provides some beautiful scenery to go along with your round, especially during the spring when the pear and cherry trees begin to bloom.

Great day to play
always nice staff clean place and Golf course is always in best possible condition
Hidden Gem
I have never golfed on a better course at this price. I have paid double the amount of money for courses that are not as nice as this one. One of my favorite courses and the cheapest as well. This place is a hidden Gem. The only negative thing I can say about it is that the driving range is junk and one of the ugliest I have ever seen. But the course is the very opposite! I never practice there but I love playing this beautiful golf course!
Also nice deck to have some drinks and food that sits on the 18th green. Great food and you get to watch the 18th hole finish. Highly recommend this hidden gem of a course in York!
Beautiful Course
Heritage Hills has a beautiful layout and such variety to the holes. The large greens are very fast and challenging as are several long par 3’s.
Playing conditions are usually excellent.
Excellent course
Got a great price at 12:10 pm and finished with nice pace of play.
Great staff. Nice course.
Had a great round. The greens were faster than I am used to. Pace of play was pretty good.
The food in the bar is great and the staff is amazing!
The pace is so slow and they don't have some speeding the players up. Tried to get a rain check due to it taking 3.5 hrs for 9 holes only but they wouldn't give me a rain check. How can anyone take 6 hrs to play a round of golf?!
1st time in 25 years
This place is the same if not better than it was when I lived in the area and played it quite a bit 25 years ago. The course itself was well maintained tee to green. Greens had been punched about 1.5/2 weeks prior and were healing nicely. When they’re completely healed they’ll only add to amp up the test a bit as well as the level of enjoyment. We played on a day that was cold and a bit damp but by the back 9 the sun was out and we could see that the seniors and twilighters were coming out in force for at least a quick 9. Thus, I can’t comment on pace because it was pretty much wide open for the entire day. That said, I played with my brother and a friend and they said pace can sometimes be a problem. Overall a great track- we played mostly from whites with a few blues mixed in. Fair amounts of both sand and water protected greens with a nice variety of doglegs and elevation changes. It also is a pretty course in every season of the year. The “resort” adds a nice offering of increased amenities for both food and drinks with a view even from inside.
The only thing I would recommend would be that some tlc is needed on the cart paths nearly everywhere throughout- they’re reduced to gravel in some areas and bumps and potholes are worse than nearby I83!! Similarly the range and some of the other aesthetics could use the same type of attention. The range is very rundown partly because it doubles as a snow park in the winter and the wear from all that makes it really nasty to look at and it’s the 1st thing that everyone sees when they turn into the parking lot.
I got a double deal on GolfNow and they also had discounted the regular rate because of the punched greens. 3 of us played with carts and had a few cocktails at turn and at 19th with a few nibbles for under $150 all tallied. That’s a bargain even and despite a mostly cruddy early May weather day. It’s worth an hour plus drive from Phila area for something different, a fun round and at a lesser price than most public courses that are comparable in length and quality. 4.5/5 stars
