THIRD HOLE: Difficulties at three come on the drive, but here the approach shot (to a slightly elevated green) is less taxing. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/26/2020
-
FOURTH: Elegant looking hole and also the easiest on the front at a mere 103 yards. But you’re only getting a breather between three and five. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/26/2020
-
FIFTH: The front side’s toughest hole, this can turn demonic after any big mistake. Downhill all the way and 426 yards. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/26/2020
-
SIXTH: Handsome downhill par-3. Things become a bit more spacious around the green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/26/2020
-
SEVENTH: Picturesque tee-shot with a pond on the left and a tree-lined fairway. Line-drive tee shots into those trees, however, are not encouraged. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/26/2020

NINTH GREEN: My playing partners, from left: Ricky, Michelle and Bob—and good golfers all. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/26/2020
Needs some work
I like the layout but some of the greens need to filled in bars spots. I'm sure with some time they will grow in
On the upswing
The new management is making a HUGE difference at Melody Hill. The clubhouse improvements are great. The course is now taking tee times and credit cards vs the 1st come/cash only policies of the past. The course has been over-seeded so over the next 2 years the course conditions will only continue to improve .
The decision by Melody Hill to join the Tri State Golf Company was a wise choice! Keep up the good work!
Getting better all the time
I've been to Melody Hills years ago, I really liked the layout, but the course conditions and staff were less than desired.
I was told the course was under new management, and the new owner already runs one if my favorite courses in NE. Why not give it another try?
I played back to back weekends. Both rounds, the Staff was exactly what you would expect from a well run establishment, very friendly and accommodating.
The course is still a work in progress, but you can see the improvements in the fairways already. Grass is taking over nicely and it really is a fun course to play.
I'm looking forward to rate the course in the future, the greens still have a way to go, but it wont stop me from going back.
Golf now bargin
Fun layout, course good condition, $15.00 18 with cart.
Thx golfnow
Has Come a long Way
If you have not played Melody Hill in a long time, its time to go back. New management has really improved the clubhouse.
And I was told a full restaurant was coming soon. You could also see the work they are doing to the course, actually see a fairway cut and rough lines. Keep up the great work new management! Cant wait until you get this sleeping gem back into great condition.
Keeps going downhill
6 of us took a day out of work and away from the wives to go hit the links. We were harassed by a male employee driving around in a cart for the entire front 9 holes for not being quick enough. It turned out they had a league starting at 2pm. We bought 2 coolers of beer, golfed 9 holes, then bought lunch inside and more beers. We were yelled at for not moving right into the back 9 holes. Did this guy not understand that we were spending a lot of money here on not only the golf but also the food and drinks. Will never come back. Golf is a stress reliever and is to be enjoyed, not rushed. If you want to enjoy golf, don't go to melody hills.
