Very good course
I play this course often. Greens and fairways are well maintained for a course as busy as this one is. Too often there are league's or tournaments going on and the pace of play when these guys play is awful. And they won't allow you to play through very often. And occasionally you'll get an impatient golfer behind that will hit into you because you are held up waiting for the league's to move on. If you catch it at the right time though it is a great course. The carts have screens that give hole layouts and distances that will help with yardage while playing. But the course is accessible and welcoming to all levels of play.
Not bad , not great
Have played when pace of play was good. Not so this time. A lot of break in greens and greens didn’t hold well. Not a bad value. Burgers at the grill were pretty good after the round. Would play again but not top of my list.
One of the best value courses in the upstate.
This is as good of a course as you’re going to find for a $30 round. Bar/restaurant is better than most for turn/post round food/drinks.
Pretty terrible pace of play, with not much awareness to the matter. It was not a busy day, but there were 3 separate groups playing at a 5-6 hour pace that we had to get through.
10/10 recommend giving this value track a try.
Very Beautiful course
Amazing and beautiful course... value for your money..
Will definitely play again on my next trip.
The course is a mess
There’s trees and limbs and pine and cone dirt crap everywhere greens are impossible and small. The course layout is too tricky too many turns too many hills. It’s really country not well.
Enjoyable course for the money
The piece of play was outstanding, possibly due to rain earlier in the day. The greens were a little odd, and they just had random blips and drops in them. What a fun layout and good course overall for the money
Good scenic course
Good golf course but the wait staff ignored us at the turn
Forgiving Layout
Excellent course for the price. The bar area was also legit.
Nice little course
This course had a few rough spots, but nothing too bad. It is definitely worth the money and I like the layout. The holes at the end are by the lake and are quite pretty. There is a nice deck where you can have a beer at the end of your round look out over the last hole and enjoy the day. Worth coming out for the price.
Just okay
I wouldn’t play here unless everywhere else was booked up, but it was fine
cheap and cheap
This course was in rough shape for just greening up for spring, poorly maintained. There are other nearby courses in much better shape than this one. The cart paths were like semi-paved cow paths, they desperately need repaving. Also checking in at the pro shop was the slowest of any except one in north Georgia may be a close second.
The good: it is cheap, and the restaurant is pretty good. My group has a list of 20 courses that we play within an hour or so travel time, I will be removing this course from our play list.
Sorry Pine Lake, put some money into maintenance.
Still early in the year
The course is rather brown and the grass needs to start growing as it was hard to find much grass on some of the fairways. Some of the greens need help with bare spots, which they've sanded. Greens are difficult to read as there is a lot of undulation. Sand is in good shape and full. Some great views on the holes around the lake. Hole 18 is a fun, challenging par 3 over water to a well guarded green. Staff was very friendly.
