About
Rose Hill Golf Club in Bluffton is situated amongst plentiful live oaks draped with Spanish moss. There are also sparkling, crystal-clear lakes that come into play on several holes. The golf course is a part of Rose Hill Plantation, giving it a truly Southern look and feel. Most of the holes are flat and straightforward but there are a few tricky doglegs to keep the course interesting. The layout features formidable par 3s that will test even the best players and a notably difficult par 5 that measures just over 600 yards. The challenging holes are balanced with player-friendly features that make it versatile enough for a wide range of skill levels. Four sets of tees, the longest coming to just over 6,900 yards, make Rose Hill Golf Club even more accessible.

Not really worth it
Staff is super friendly and the tee box es and fairways are....okay....
Greens? Worst I've ever played on. Not worth the lower rate vs. othe HH course. Pay the extra $30 or $40 to play another course.

Greens were in very bad shape. Some fairways rough.

Greens are dead!
Greens on most holes were dead. Huge black spots. A lot of the tee boxes also dead. Fairways ok but mo maintained. Sand traps muddy or just had minimal sand. Over all very poorly maintained golf course that was not worth the green fees paid!. People were friendly but still will not go back.

INTERESTING LAYOUT - BUT, OH SO POOR GREENS
Actually, an interesting layout. The BIG problem here is the condition of the tee boxes and especially the greens. Gawd, they were awful. Green side bunkers are very dense - nothing will plug there! Would definitely consider playing again ... but not until the greens are overhauled.

Excellent layout. Fairways are decent. Many greens were beat up. Staff said they are going to be working on the greens. Still enjoyable

Think twice.
All courses we played in this area had very bad greens. No grass just rolled dirt. Courses on HH are over priced so for the money it was ok.

Most of the greens were gone. No grass and no errors to reseed, aerate, Fairways wrere shaggy at best.

Too expensive for what is offered
It’s a $20 course charging $60……Greens are unputtable….no grass on most.
Understand there are new owners & they haven’t found someone to teakettle over the restaurant,so it is closed, and they are working to improve the course…….but the current conditions should be reflected in the price.

Disappointing
Our first round of the year was a near disaster. Chose the course by location and price.
Initially it was OK but as we played the greens got progressively worse. Some were virtually unplayable.
