About
Oak Hills Golf Club sits near the state capital but it doesn't feel like it's located in a city. It has a peaceful and picturesque setting. The golf course rolls across gentle hills studded with oaks, pines, and beautiful dogwoods. Some of the greens are rather undulating and a few are elevated as well. Most holes are framed by trees or water. There are some challenging holes but the layout doesn't present anything too intimidating for beginners. The golf course finishes with one of its most memorable holes. From the elevated tee on this par 5, golfers will get a panoramic view of nine different holes.

Exceptional value
It's hard to imagine being able to play a course like Oak Hills for only eight dollars, but I did it with my
GolfNow hot deal plus bonus points. It's
Christmas in February.
Course was in decent shape. Greens were not as good as they usually are. Pace of play was slow due to being a holiday.
Beautiful green!
On the way out, we were the only team playing on the course so it was fabulous, but back nine, the team that were playing before us was with 5 people with 3 carts and moving slowly.
Always enjoy playing here
The course was wet due to big rain the day before it was still 90 degrees and seemed to be draining well. The greens were consistent and seemed well cared for. Cart paths need work.
Good experience
We had a good time playing especially with weather how it is for December. We were playing a foursome and we were moving fairly quick. We did have to let 3 groups through. It took us about 4 and half hours to finish 18.
Winter Rules
This is my go to course in my hometown. Weekends can be slow but overall course is always in great shape and by far the best value
Oak Hills Golf Club
Nice course not too far from I-20 passing through Columbia SC. Afternoon round joined a couple of guys on the first tee and we were off. Played the whites and the course did not feel overly long, good mix of par fours length wise, fives were three shots and par threes were tough. Conditions on the good side, bunkers nice and I found my share of them today but tight lies around the greens for chipping but based on this time of year I can envision good tings in the summer time. Recommend and I would replay here if I get a chance.
SC Favorite
I love this course! It is a favorite. I am not a member but I love to play this one! Every time I go there, I’m never disappointed. Keep up the great work!
Great challenging golf course!
Course was in very good condition and was convenient to play on way home. Cart paths we're a little rough, but improvements were being n made around course and clubhouse.
Average conditions
I like this course layout. The course is normally in great shape. The greens were not cut the day I played as they were fuzzy and slow. Some greens had bare spots around the green edges but overall the greens looked nice. I would have enjoyed my round more if the greens were cut and the speed of play was faster. 5 1/2 hours is too long. This is a big reason milenials don’t play as they won’t allocate that much time to play.
Great Layout
Really enjoyed this course. The fairways are almost too generous, especially the landing area from the tips. However, get off the fairways and the course will punish you, especially around the greens. The greens are the defense for this course. Smaller than average and very undulating. Was difficult to read the first time through, had some odd breaks. Would like to come back and play a couple times to figure them out. Overall, rated this course high and will be back.

I have played this course many time for many years. It is in the best shape this summer and fall ever. Fantastic deal for the money.

Great Value
Played as a single and hooked up with another single. Pace of play was outstanding. The greens were a little slow due to sanding. Cart paths leave a little to be desired but that's ok. Great value for the money.
Very nice course
Teed off at 7:30 and was done by 10:20. Course was in great shape and was challenging but fair for a short hitter.
