This course is a good value.
This course is a very enjoyable course for a beginner or experienced golfer. It is a fairly open course which is nice if you do not always play perfect shots. The staff was friendly and the course is a great bang for your buck.
Friend was a member here 20 years ago. First time here in awhile
Several tee boxes need some work ( I know it’s December ). Course is really short. . Accurate shots are required off the tee. Keep the ball below the hole for sure. Almost a shot penalty to be off green above the hole. No ranger and course can get backed up easily. Great course to work on short game and long irons off tee. I have seen greens in much better shape. Overall just a game management type course. First time back for me in around 20 years. Could use some money invested for upgrades but probably a whole bunch better in summer.
First time play
Enjoyed my first time. Played alone #19-27 the 1-9. Good value for the money.
Get what you pay for
My wife and I played 18 holes in a little over 4 hours on a Friday afternoon. Riding carts need brakes.
Decently challenging but lacking in several areas
Course is definitely challenging but requires some serious maintenance in all areas. Grass was patchy on greens and tee boxes. There is no half way house or service to buy drinks etc.
Good for the season.
Dormant Bermuda is still good fairways and greens are firm and fast.
Rolling Greens
Really nice course. 3 nines for variety. Excellent staff. Always in good shape. Only complaint is on several holes, if you hit your shot right down the middle it will end up in the woods (left or right, depending on the hole due to the slopped fairways). Penalty on a poorly hit shot? Sure. On a ball hit down the middle? Not fair. 3 or 4 well placed berms would make this course a lot more fair, enjoyable and playable.
Thanksgiving Surprise
What a gem! Best-kept secret in the Upstate! Course was in excellent shape, hilly, flat lies, greens nicely cut, nice fairways. Friendly staff.
Really made a memorable holiday for my wife and me.
Rolling Green Golf Course
The course was nice. The greens are really tough my only complaint is there are very few yardage markers.
Nice place
Early Tee Time made the front 9 very challenging. Back 9 fired out and there is a defo difference. You have some very tight holes through out the course. Making it even more challenging.
Eh...
First off, everyone is still dealing with COVID-19...with that being said, I was charged extra for a separate cart so that I wouldn't be riding with a stranger. Other than that ..the course was what I expected...nothing special about it... relatively short (hit hybrid on most par 4s), greens were in ok shape.
