Village Greens Golf & Country Club
About
Village Greens Golf Club sprawls across over 100 acres of what used to be farmland situated between Inman and Gramling. Remnants of the old farm can be seen throughout the course, including pear trees from the original orchard that line the 10th fairway. When the golf course was built in 1969, many new trees were planted but much care was taken so as not to obstruct the view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, providing nearly every hole with views that stretch from Glassy Mountain to Chimney Rock. The layout has a classic design that is playable for a wide range of skill levels. Sparkling lakes and ponds accent the landscape, coming into play on a few holes. Village Greens Golf Club's most memorable water hole is the course's signature sixth. This short par 3 features a semi-island green that is surrounded by water on two sides, along with three bunkers and out-of-bounds on the right.

Good course .Yesterday many people on the course so pace of play was slow.
Cart path need improvement.
Great improvements
We have not played Village Greens in about two years, they have done considerable maintenance on the course to make it a pleasure to play.
Best public course condition ever !
greens and fairways as good and better than many private clubs. Teed off on schedule and never waited for play on any hole.
Wow!! Great course.
This place is in great shape already this season. First time I’ve played this year and actually had grass in fairways. All around great course. Will definitely play again.
This course is a jewel.
My friend Bill (who is 92) and I played Village Greens this week. The staff were friendly and accomodating. The greens were fast and the fairways have really greened up to be very lush. We play the course as often as we can.
Great course! Friendly Folks
Staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating. Greens were fast and true. Obviously the greens keeper and his staff take great pride in their work. Will be back.
Love this course!
My favorite course in the area. They just need to do a little tree trimming on #18! NARROW tee shot through the trees.
Resort course
Nice course for the money. Houses on holes not a problem. If I had the $ I would look into purchasing home here.
Course needs work
The winter really took its toll on this golf course. Several holes had fairways completely devoid of grass. I expected dormant grass but not hard pan .
There were wet areas due to water washing over the fairway.
Early in year - grass is not coming in yet.
Try to play here a couple times a year. Got here a little early for this round. Really nice when course is in shape. Give it a little bit and this is a great place.
