About
Architect Dennis Griffiths designed this track as a finesse course. He did not produce the typical beach layout when he created this 18-hole design, built in 1988. It has narrow bermudagrass fairways and large bentgrass greens and is bordered on the east by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Holes No. 1 through 15 are short, and the course lulls you up to this point. Then, the last three holes are uncharacteristically difficult.The course is mostly flat, with occasional uneven lies. Some tree-lined fairways have doglegs. The course is always fun to play and an especially fun round of golf for couples.

Great course for the price!
First time playing here, a few greens weren't in the best of shape, but comparable to others in this area due to the rough winter. Great course layout, staff was friendly and price was very reasonable. Course was wide open when we played and the beer was extra cold. Anyone who complains about this course is a spoiled snob. 100% would play again and am very satisfied with my round. Will be booking here again next time I'm in Myrtle Beach. Thank you for a great day of golf. We hit up Sonic after, and that combined with the round made for a day I will never forget.
An Average Course
There are several challenging holes with lots of water. Greens not in great shape.
Valley Review
The Valley is in good shape and was fun and challenging to play. Staff are very friendly and the course offers good value for money. We would recommend it for sure.
April 6 at east point
This is a tight place your shot golf course fairways were good layout is tight only disappointment was in the greens they were rough hard and fast and seemed outdated
They were not Bermuda which is the standard
Fun course
We played early in the am which probably helped our pace of play. We played in just under 3 hours but we were the second group off in the morning.
Fairways and tees were great but the greens were still coming in and they were bumpy.
The course is short but does require some positioning off the tee box. Great course to walk if you’re into that as well.
I would play again.
The greens were very bumpy and rough. Not worth the money.
Avoid this course
The greens were in horrible shape and they were punching them as we played. The punch machine really chewed up the edges of the greens, but the greens that hadn't been punched were bad too. I come down to MB every year at this time and this is the third worst conditioned course that I have played here. The other two have since closed, so this is the worst. Maybe it gets better as the season progresses, but I wouldn't play it again at this time of year even if I was comped.
