About
Architect Dennis Griffiths designed this track as a finesse course. He did not produce the typical beach layout when he created this 18-hole design, built in 1988. It has narrow bermudagrass fairways and large bentgrass greens and is bordered on the east by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Holes No. 1 through 15 are short, and the course lulls you up to this point. Then, the last three holes are uncharacteristically difficult.The course is mostly flat, with occasional uneven lies. Some tree-lined fairways have doglegs. The course is always fun to play and an especially fun round of golf for couples.

Love this course!
Awesome hidden gem! This course has it all - tree-lined narrow fairways, rolling slopes, well groomed sand bunkers, and water!
Canadian snowbirds and we really enjoy playing this course each and every time we come to visit Myrtle area :)

Nice course, a lot of water
Being from up north, I am not used to so much water. It was challenging. Should have spent more time seeing where I was on every hole! The 18th hole I had a nice tee shot. Hit a great second shot, landing in the water in front of the green🤣 who knew!

Great Course for the money
Course has always been in good shape, last time out was even better than normal. Play speed, friendliness of the staff etc is better than average

Fun track with good greens!
Played here a few times now, tight par 5's and a couple real tough par 4's but other than that a very fair course to play for all abilities!

OK Course, Cart Paths a Joke
Be prepared. The cart paths are terrible. Nonexistent in many areas. The course is short, the greens OK and a bit slow. As with most public courses in this area - wait, wait and wait some more.

Have we been punked?
First Myrtle Beach golf trip and we were looking for a recommendation from a local. This was it?? The whole time, we thought we were being punked by our prankster friend. Was this course under construction? Almost all of the tee boxes were dirt, not grass. There were tractors in two of the fairways with no sign of active repair. Some tee boxes were closed and replace with dead sod. It may have been great in the past, but it is now a tired course. The only redeeming qualities were the new carts and clubhouse food and $3.50 White Claws!! Don’t get punked!!
