About
Situated along the banks of Lake Marion, Wyboo Plantation in Santee is part of an upscale, gated community. The lake merges with a canal that leads to Lake Moultrie. The Player Course is routed through the different neighborhoods and it is joined by the Wyboo Golf Club in the adjacent community of Deercreek Plantation. The 18-hole golf course stretches to just over 6,900 yards from the back tees. It is a great course for long hitters but it also forces golfers to employ creative strategies on each hole. The layout is tight in some spots and thanks to the interconnected lakes, water hazards come into play on several holes. It is a golf course that will make you think but at the same time it is playable for a range of different skill levels.

Cut the dang greens
This is a great course. I’ve been playing for 20 years. For some reason they are lacking cutting the green and moving the cups. Supper slow putting and edges of the cups worn out.
One of the best around the area
Great course in great shape. Greens and fairways are always in great shape. Well worth playing.
Nice hidden gem
Fantastic range and practice area. Great layout. The fairways were in great shape, greens were okay as they had recently been airated.
Pace of play was very good. I’ll definitely be back.
Great Layout / Mediocre Conditions
Beautiful course but the greens have a fungus in them with quite a few bad spots. With greens in good condition this place would be a must play!! Overall enjoyed the layout!
Good Layout
Course was in good shape, with holes that make you shape shots. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. However, the cart was a negative. The usb port was rusted and overall dirty. Pace of play was slow, with a lot of waiting on each hole.
Good course
Course is in pretty good shape. We had a ton of rain the past few weeks so everything is wet. Yet the course was still in good shape. They are working nonstop to improve the course and it shows. The only thing I wish they had a little more of a practice area. They do allow walkers but you still pay full price. Most course in the area don’t even allow walkers anymore.
I liked the course and will be back. In good shape for spring.
What a great track
I live an hour away but this course is worth the drive. Fairways are in perfect condition and greens roll well too. Paid $30 to play this course on a Tuesday which is well worth it.
Great value
Old style course. Very playable. Even with winter conditions course was in great shape. New carts. Nice variety of holes with very little water
Re-opened Fall of 2017
Just re-opened under new ownership and in better shape than ever. Great layout. Newly remodeled clubhouse, new carts, lots of merchandise, great value.

Unfortunately this course is closed and not expected to reopen.
WYBOO PLAYERS COURSE .
SHOULD GET THIS COURSE UP TO THE HIGH STANDARDS OF THE WYBOO GOLF COURSE ACROSS THE STREET. IT WAS ALSO DISSAPOINTING THAT THERE WAS HARDLY ANY VIEW OF SANTEE.

Great staff, everyone is friendly and helpful, nice layout and in good condition.
Great value for the course
Made tee time with Golfnow. The value for this round was unbeatable. Upon arrival to the club house, the older gentleman behind the counter knew who I was (I've played the course before). Tee to green, the course played well. Some thight spots in the fairway. Some greens were a little spotty. Divots were not repaired on a few. Will definitely play again, and I do recommend playing.

liked the course although my game did not. I would play again but would need a better game that day.
Nice Course
We stopped here on the way to Georgia. Took a chance never played here before. It is located off the beaten path from 95 but it was worth the drive. Nice course and the most friendly staff I have ever met. I would highly recommend playing here.
