Very slow
Played on Good Friday so we knew it would be crowded, but my partner and I waited on average 10 minutes between every hole and this isn't an exaggeration. The waiting began on the 3rd hole and lasted until the end of the round. All in all, we played about 2.5 hours and waited 2.5 hours. Course and greens in great shape, but just wish there was someone to hurry along the slower groups.
Don’t get behind the group of 6
Not a bad course at all. Some more open fairways to really lay into your driver. They did put a group of walkers in front of us at the turn, and there was a group of 6 in front of them. It got so backed up on the back nine it was horrible. Waiting was a pain. Not bad for the money..... greens were kept in good shape, just a little bit too soft. One of the par 4’s on the back is played as a 3 due to the recent flooding in February.
Nice December Round
First off, the weather was perfect and my group of 4 was done under 4 hours which we enjoyed. We play here a few times a year as management is always pleasant and it's a tough course particularly the par 3s. Course was in good shape for December with greens being very slow, especially for Legacy. We will be back soon!
Great course
We always have a great time at legacy pines. The course is in above average condition for this time of year. The greens were very consistent.
Nice Country track
This was a fun course with wonderful greens. The staff was super friendly. Course was mostly open and fun to play. Will definitely be back.
Great corse with elevation
Enjoy the course. Would like to play it again and again. Lots of memorable holes.
Perfect!
Plenty of beautiful grass! Tee boxes , fairways and greens were literally perfect! also the cheeseburger was awesome!
Round at Legacy Pines
Me and my two daughters played a round at Legacy Pines . Booked it on golfnow. Only problem, we thought it would be us. Had a single that booked the other spot in the group. Nice guy but couldn't get the ball off the ground. He stopped after nine. Greens were fantastic. Layout was good. Alot of holes were position shots off the tee. I would recommend to other people to play. Wish courses would also give course ratings/slope for women playing senior/whites/ blue tees. My daughter played the senior tees, shot 77. Hard to put in her hnp for the courses that only have ratings for red tees.
Fun Course
Amazing the improvements new owners have made over the last couple years. Constant work to improve the course. Is a fun and challenging course......#6 a monster! We play many courses in the upstate and play here once or twice a week. Great value for the money.
Unique layout
Really enjoyed the course. The layout has a lot of ups and downs The uphill approach shots can add an added dimension to the challenge of the course.
And oh yeah, the burgers really are that good!
Hot at Legacy Pines
Bill and I returned to Legacy Pines today and had another great day of golf. The course was in excellent shape and a conscious effort to cleaning up the rough was noticed. We drive over 30 miles each to play this course and it is worth it. The staff is friendly, the grill is quick in serving your food on the turn, and the course provides a variety of holes requiring your full attention.
Good Course
The greens are some of the best in the Upstate fair but challenging course
Fast and fun
Have played here many times. Staff is always friendly and if the course s not busy I can always start early. Fairways in good condition and greens as well. Played in less than 3 hours.
