Great Sunday
Staff is excellent and the greens were perfect considering the heat we are going through, a foursome in under four hours on Sunday is great. Keep up the great work
Excellent in many ways
The course is in great shape and I contribute that to the owner and his crew, greens and fairways are In excellent shape and a nice variety of holes with some nice elevation changes. I will continue to play this course often one of my favorites in the area!!!
Interesting Course
In area visiting family, first time playing here. Interesting layout with lots of hills, very wide fairways, doglegs. Pace very nice - 3:45. Staff great Negatives: greens recently aerated, with lots of sand on greens (not told of this, but I may have missed a sign in the pro shop), and fairways not really in great shape, trim/short, but lots of weeds. Overall, playing an unfamiliar course, a good day at a very decent price.
Always getting better
The course is always making improvements and the greens are top notch.
Fast day
Came an hour early because it was supposed to rain. Tee was open and they let me on as a single. Never did run into another group. Finished in under 3 hours. Fairways were in good condition. Greens had been recently Aeified didn’t roll quite true, but I knew that before beginning. Still it was great and will play here often .
Nice Spot
The greens have been aerated so it was a bumpy ride, but it’s that time of year. Nice spot and close to my work for evening rounds. Will be back.
Fantastic gem hidden in Mauldin
This is one of the best courses you will come across in the upstate! Come hungry bc they make the BEST BURGER IN THE UPSTATE AS WELL!!! Not an exaggeration. Can't beat this place! Greens roll true and the entire course is highly maintained all day everyday! Can't say it enough...GO PLAY THIS COURSE
Great course
The course is in great shape for this time of year. The greens are very consistent and roll true.
Legacy pines
Nice layout with excellent t boxes and very friendly staff. Excellent value for the money. Pin placements were. Kinda tough but other than that everything was great! Will be back. Thinking about joining for a year!
Worth the travel
Drove two hours from Charlotte to meet family members from Atlanta. We booked this course based off online reviews. We were not disappointed. Extremely friendly service and the course was in great shape. Even for a Saturday AM tee time, still a 4.5 hour round. We all agrred it was a course we would be back to. Friendly staff, fast greens, fairways were great and rough was full as well. Good job, thanks for having us.
Bad planning
My group and I showed up after booking in Golf Now. We waited for a cart because there was a tournament- that Golf Now nor the Golf course told us about. After getting situated, we were told to go to the tenth tee, where 3 groups were lined up, two being in the tournament. Once it was our turn, there were 3 more groups lined up behind us. The greens are in excellent condition, fairways are nice, tee boxes are a little rough, but overall a nice course. After 3 hours on the back, without anyone checking on pace of play, we made it to the turn. At the first tee box, where we hoped it would open up, we were now third in line again, which was discouraging. The last straw was when someone in the staff came out and said to the people on the tee box, “Let this group (2 groups behind us) go first- they only have one hole left”. This didn’t make us feel important at all. After some complaining, we left, calling it a day. To be fair, the guy gave me our money back, attempting to make it right, but someone needs to be out controlling pace of play and the first tees.
Always Fun
Play this course often when in the Greenville area. Wish GolfNow would get their name correct. It’s Legacy Pines now.
Course is fun to play.. fairways are wide which is good for recreational players. Four sets of tees makes it nice. Hazards around greens means you need to think about that approach. Greens are fun.
I have lauded this for the past two years and they are continually making improvements. Love the par 3 #8. They have done an amazing job on the new layout.
Fun but sssllllloooowwww
Didn’t pair me up with anyone but two single players a a twosome behind me and a twosome in front of me. All were waiting for two foursomes to play.
First time playing the course...
Ring my first time here wasn’t sure what to expect with the mixed reviews...staff was very friendly and got the groups moving quickly as there were several lines up. Greens were in good shape but the majority of the tee boxes were in bad shape...very hard and little grass. Several fairways were the same way and the bunkers were like concrete. Overall not a bad layout but the course needs some work.
Nice coarse
I have played here many times and it is well worth playing. The greens are in very nice shape, some fairways are nice, but some haven't made it through the heavy rains we have this year. People have always been nice, but the pace of play is hit or miss. Par 3's are a real challenge. Enjoy.
