Very disappointed

First off the staff was really nice and extremely helpful but unfortunately that was about it. The driving range is a joke, they give you the balls in plastic bags. The cart path is the worst I have ever seen. Tee boxes were in fair condition and the fairways were pretty good. The greens rolled nice but there was A LOT of grass mowed left behind around the green which made it take away from the actual niceness of them. The course layout was good. I live on Cobblestone so maybe have high expectations but unfortunately I did not feel like this is anywhere near a "country club" and not worth the money!

Well Worth It

This is a fun course to play, not too easy and certainly not overly penal. The fairways are in as good a shape as any course within 50 miles, and the greens run true and at moderate speed. The course and the GolfNow Hot Deal made it well worth the hour drive to get there.

Enjoyed the round

This golf course is a hidden gem within Newberry county. Fairways were in great shape even after severe storms the night before. Sand traps were waterlogged because of the storms. Sand traps surround most greens which make approach shots challenging. Greens were in good shape. Definitely on my list of courses to play again!!

Great design but...

Country Club of Newberry had a great layout but the course was in need of some TLC—tender loving care. No difference between rough and fairway. Crabgrass everywhere.

Nice Winter Day on the Links

The course was in reasonable condition for the winter except for the traps. Wet in spots. Had to play thru a couple of slower grps.
