For being off the beaten path this nine hole course is a great track. The fairways have great grass for the time of year. As do the tee boxes. The greens do need help but hey it was a cold winter by Carolina standards and most of all this course is run by a One man show!!!! So needless to say my wife and I had a great time playing 18 and will surely be back.
Nice people, friendly dog, pathetic golf course. It's fine for locals, children, but shouldn't be on Golf Now. The good price hooked me, Didn't play the second nine.
Could become a great course
Greens need some serious attention. Fairways were good.
4/5 star review, not justified
So, I am new to the area. This was my first time playing locally. As always, I look on GolfNow/GolfAdvisor for reviews. The reviews (2) were decent, so I decided to play. The “club house” was someone’s actual house. The gentleman who drove up in a cart was very friendly. I couldn’t be happier with him, but this course needs a tremendous amount of work. The tee boxes were dirt, I putted one #9. That was it, unputtable. The holes were not numbered. Didn’t know where I was going after 7. Just a rough course. Was able to fly around by myself. I feel others should be aware prior to booking. I’m not one to rant, but I would not pay $15 to play here.
Nice old course
When they get the greens in shape this will be a very nice course. I’m playing there again. The staff (Keith) is a really great guy.Unless you’re a purist who needs perfect conditions this place deserves a shot. Keep an open mind and enjoy it for what it is .
Greens small and need help to make this course a comeback course. Too many other course's for price to play this one again. So sorry but I was a little embarrassed for this course.
