About
Santee National Golf Club possesses all of the charms of the Carolina Lowcountry but it is also nicely contrasted with highland terrain. The course sprawls across rolling hills covered with moss-draped live oaks that demand accuracy. Both the scenery and the challenges continue with pristine white sand bunkers that stand out against the lush greens. There are also five sparkling lakes throughout that come into play on several holes. The front nine is wide open but the course narrows as you move onto the back nine and it also becomes more wooded. It is a tough golf course but more forgiving than it seems. As the only Golf Digest 4-star rated course in the area, Santee National has a longstanding reputation with locals and it is also popular with visitors.

I enjoyed playing the course, will be playing regularly.
Can’t beat it for the price
Was able to go to Santee national twice the last few weekends because of the amazing hot deals. Have enjoyed both times. The greens have been aerated so the putting is a little difficult sometimes, but thoroughly enjoyed both times playing here. Would highly recommend.

Aerated greens
Good overall value due to the greens being aerated the day before. But course was wide open due to that.

Great Course!
Fair challenges on many of the holes. Well taken care of .. I will definitely play again when in the area. Highly recommend.
Great golfing experience
Great condition as the greens were excellent and the newly redone bunkers are superb. Tony in the shop does a great job and all the staff are very welcoming

Overall course conditions were very good. Shout to the Superintendent and staff. Will be back again
Outstanding Course
We traveled 50 miles to play this course. It was beautiful, senic, in great condition, and a joy to play!
Front 9 is wide open, back nine requires some golf shots. Pace of play was slow, but there was a lot of people out. Greens in great condition and bunkers have been redone in past couple years and are the best I’ve played out of. I’ve played this course dozens of times and this was the best shape it’s ever been in.
Nice Course…
I got a Hot Deal, so it was worth it for $58. Nice layout, some interesting and challenging holes.
South Carolina Belter
Santee was a cracker of a course. Some very strong holes upto the 18th. Well designed course that doesn't break the bank. Greens and fairways were in superb condition and the greens putted true. Off course the staff were friendly and welcoming. Course undulations were excellent and a very playable course. Worth the drive if you're around the Charleston area.
