bring your own food unless you just want a pack of crackers took 2.5 hours to play the front and then you stop to get a burger and they say you cant have it because you will lose your position lmao what a joke this place is but thats ok redfox country club in tryon nc dont care how long you take to eat and its way friendlier and alot better condition. wont go back here.

Really nice course for the money. Greens are really really nice, but fairways could use some work in spots

Fairways were non-existent, greens were slow and shaggy. Arrived at the first tee playing as just a 2some, and there was a 5 some teeing off in front of us. They had no intention of letting us play first. All of them hit 2 balls off of the first tee. Played back 9, lay out is fairly decent. Definitely will not ever go back.

Rude staff...booked a 09:30 tee time...was told Golf Now over booked so my tee time was moved to 10:00...tried to explain and show receipt for tee time with no success...so got stuck behind a large golf party...course conditions doesn't match the cost of the green fees...differently over priced...over charged at the snack bar...sign clearly states chips comes with sandwich had to pay a extra dollar for chips...the group's behind parked a foot from every green...blue jeans and plain t-shirts are allowed to play

The greens were in excellent shape but they need to put some grass seed down on the fairways, they were dirt for the most part. But still a good bang for your buck

I enjoyed the people and the layout. However, I did not enjoy the paint on the greens. Repeat: They painted every green that was visible from the street.

Played mid-May. Greens were in great shape, but fairways and Tee boxes left a lot to be desired. Boxes were chewed up and fairways were really patchy. Some of the tee boxes didnt have a marker showing hole layout or yardage; which made it difficult because the scorecard didnt offer a diagram of the hole either. Fairway markers need to be updated, as they were difficult to see/find. Just kind of felt like there was something missing from each hole to make the course complete and player friendly.

This course was bought years ago and the new owners evidently have made no attempt to make the fairways better. The greens are in decent shape but the fairways are as terrible as ever. I understand that it cost money to do this but they could do it one at a time if they cant afford to do it all at once. I mean come on at least TRY.

Pace of play was slow and etiquette was poor. The players behind us hit into us and stated "just hit'em" when talking about the slow pace of play. No rangers on the course to monitor slow players.

a decent little muni out in spartanburg sc. home of the first tee of spartanburg so they have a free 9 hole par 3 course free to any kid under the age of 18. but the actuall 18 hole course could some work the greens are smooth but everything else coud use some work. little to no grass in the fairways.

nice course, awesome practice facilities,and friendly people also a geat value for me and my son we had a blast will definately go again.

i enjoyed the course. overall condition good-will come back in the spring.

The course is in the worst shape I have ever seenof any corse.there is literally no grass in the fairways. Greens are in decent to good shape. Cow pasture all shots from fairway are off of dirt. Not even if it is free should you go there

the course was in very good condition for this time of year. greens were in great shape. the staff was super friendly and welcoming. even without the golf now special rate, the price to play here is very reasonable. I will definately play here again.
