The layout is excellent; challenging but not over the top. Course was not in good shape, but given the layout, pace of play and cost, I will definitely play again.

Only 6 holes open

The first nine pace of play was very slow, as there was a group of 6 golfers hunting got balls....etc. I did not know when I booked that only 6 of 9 holes were being played, so you play 1-6 3 times. With that said it is a good little course at a very reasonable price.

You get what you pay for

Cheap tee time. Didn’t expect much as we’ve played this course before. It would have been nice if the course had notified Golf Now that 4 of the 9 holes on this course were closed for repair. I wouldn’t have bothered to drive the hour trip to play here had I known half the. Purse was closed.
Thinking of playing here better call the pro shop to see if the course repairs are completed. This is a county run facility and they could do a much better job with notifications to the public and Golf Now.

Very good time

This was the first time I played the course and truly enjoyed it. It is only a 9 hole course but it's a Challanging and fun course to play. The last three holes (7, 8, 9) aren't in good condition (because of all the rain we've been having) but they are still Playable and they were being worked on.
All in all it is worth your time to play and enjoy yourself.

Fun Challenge

It’s a serious challenge for us sea-level golfers to get up & down a couple of these challenging elevated greens. Lots of water hazards to navigate as well. It’s a course requiring some tricky rarely-shot swings. We laughed, groaned, succeeded, and failed in a fun competition between good friends!

Good value

I played for $16 so can’t really complain. The carts are great. They have gps and blue tooth connection for your phone to play music through the speakers and the gps is very accurate (I compared the distance with my range finder). Course could be in better condition but for the price, it was fine. It’s a short course so you can use irons from the tee box for almost every hole. Would come back again.

Fun & Challenging Day @ Dogwood Hills

It started with a reasonable drive through scenic, canopied highways to find Dogwood Hills, giving you big clues that something special is ahead. As “flatland golfers” from Coastal LowCountry, we were stunned to see the elevations on tee boxes & greens — and challenged to adjust our shots. The course is scenic, the staff is super-accommodating. Add in good, timely food & service @ clubhouse turn ... life is good! A big bonus was the cordiality & hospitality from other patrons in dining room and other golfers out on the course.
Like many local courses, there’s some heavy rain and winter damage; greens have suffered the most, but there are clear indicators that repair efforts are underway. We’ll play again & bring some friends to share this little-known gem!
