Easy
Brevofield is our quick and easy go to course when there’s not much prep time. It’s close by. Greens are soft and spongy. We like them. It’s fun. Short par 4 and 5s.
Walk or Ride Same Price? Who does that? Morons do.
Ok, this could be a fun little practice course, but the people that run it are clueless. C-L-U-E-L-E-SS. I wanted to walk the course at 2:00 for their Sundown rate. "How much to walk the course?" I asked. Reply: "$29.00". "Really?" I asked. "Well then, how much to ride a cart?". Reply "$29.00". First off let me say this course isn't worth $29 for riding. More like $25 I'd say and that would be a daytime rate. At 2:00 in February you have like 3 hours to play. Second off, who does that? Who charges the same price? The course offers few challenges. No water to speak of, no real sand. I'd pay $15 to walk it late in the day. Like I said, it could be a fun little practice course, but they are clueless. There are way better courses for much less money. Don't bother. To fill this out I had to say how much I paid. Trust me, I didn't spend a dime here. Used to play it when it was fairly priced though.
Relaxed environment, Great greens!
Played here about five times now. Easy course to learn and good beginner course. Short par 4s are easy to drive. Open fairways. Greens are the some of the best in the area. Course is in very good condition.
Great place to play golf
I had a great time at this course. Great for those with high hadcap. Only thing is it's to busy and you have to wait in line up to four on each hole. We backed up and some just played only 9 holes because they hand enough. They should schedule there t times with this in mind.
Good deal
Playing Brevofield via Golf Now is a great deal. The course is in pretty good shape except for two greens. Layout is fine, off fairway balls are pretty easy to find.
Great Value for Money
The course was packed. But the pace of play was excellent. The course was in great condition. Staff was friendly and people moved along. Great public course.
Great value
First time I'd ever played here. Saw s $10 hot deal and thought "can't beat that".
Great course for a beginner or someone needing to tune up their game. Layout is wide open and the trees are easy enough to find a wayward ball if you hit into them.
Fairway grass was left longer than I'm used to. A little difficult to get down through the ball for clean hits. Rough and sand traps playable but not punishing. Greens rolled true and slow. Several greens need some attention. But again, I paid $10 so temper you expectation level accordingly.
Tale of 2 nines
Front nine was in good condition; greens rolled smooth, but typically slow. Back nine was in very rough condition with most greens unputtable. Overall the course drained quite well a day after a tropical storm.
Excellent course
Very good course to play, wide open
Brevofield Golf Links, Wake Forest NC
The Course layout seemed easy, its very good for beginner's some doglegs in course very little sand traps around greens, didn't notice any creeks/water difficulties, snack bar didn't have much there, Staff was very polite and friendly.
Enjoyable day of golf.
Brevofield reminds me of the muni's I grew up with in Texas. Its not a long or difficult layout. Fairways and greens are very good shape, but greens are on the slow side. Front nine is pretty open and the course tightens up a little on the back nine. I essentially had the course to myself at Noon on a Sunday afternoon and played two balls over 27 holes in 4 1/2 hours. Had a great time honing my game. I expect to return.
Greens and Value for Money
The greens and value for the money were excellent. I had a good time and will come back soon.
Brevofield Golf
I really enjoy this course. It is fairly open and easier for the average golfer. The greens were in great shape, faster than normal. The fairways were average. The pace of play was good. I would recommend the course for anyone.
Bad day
The course was in rough shape when I played this weekend. Lots of tall weeds and the tee boxes were basically dirt. The staff allowed a group of 7 to play as a group in front of me. The group was so slow and wouldn't allow me to play through. Very unfriendly and unprofessional.
