Beautiful
Play the Blue Ridge course for sure. Almost every shot you are looking at the mountains. Beautiful.
Resort
This is the worst looking resort I have come across
They need to spend some money upgrading various facets of the courses Sandtrap directional signs etc. would not recommend this facility to anyone .
My guess is that they are headed for bankruptcy
Great golf
Myself and three friends had a great round of 18 holes. Beautiful courses, great pace of play and staff was very helpful and professional. Will be back again.
Really nice course
Course in beautiful shape. Greens about perfect. Played all three nine hole courses, Dogwood and Blue ridge were definitely more fun.
Beautiful 27 hole mountain course!
Enjoyed my round. The price was great...$19 with cart! Normally $70 bucks!
Awesome golf course
We played all 3 nines. They are all different
and challenging. The views of the mountains
are spectacular.
The course was well kept, greens in great shape and challenging.
The staff was so helpful and friendly. The holes were beautiful in the mountain setting and challenging. The greens were in great shape and the signage for playing the different 9 holes was well marked. What apace to play and come back and relax in the rocking chairs right in front of the course under the shade of trees and quiet settings.
It'll be an annual trip for us and our friends.
Dogwood/Blue Ridge Courses
Love playing both of these 9 hole courses. Both offered challenging shots. Courses very pretty.
A little wet but still nice
The course was great love playing here just wish they had more hot deal times so I could afford to play here more.
Pleasant day on the course
The setting for this course is outstanding. The fairways were in good shape and the greens were rather soft, probably the result of a lot of rain. As a result they were quite slow. All in all it was a very pleasant day on the golf course.
Greens were beautiful
Waynesville CC is the best course for the dollar in the Waynesville area. I appreciate their. Willingness to post several deals on Golf Now for the casual golfer like me!
One of my favorites
We played Blue Ridge and Carolina - both courses were in fantastic shape. It is a relatively easy course, although there a few challenges, most of the course is predictable and the greens readable.
The course is well maintained
The course was in excellent condition, great mountain views, however the course was not hilly.
Will definitely play more rounds.
WONDERFUL COURSE
GREAT COURSE IN GREAT CONDITION, RAN BY GREAT PEOPLE. PLAYED AS A SINGLE, WORKED ME THRU WITH NO WAIT, IN LESS THAN 2 1/2 HRS. CAN'T BE BEAT.
Great course but greens...
This course has a beautiful setting and was in most respects in excellent condition. My group however had objections to the greens. Some people would just say they are fast. I would say that they have been cut so close as to be a little damaged. (Also prefer the rough to be a little shorter.) But otherwise beautiful course.
too close and as a result were very fast and a little bumpy.
Greens were firm, fast, and true
Greens were in very good shape; tee to green was in average condition, traps had red clay styled sand with stones in them. Good pace of play = 3:45-4:00 for our foursome. Enjoyed the day.
Traditional older resort course
My wife and I played on a Tuesday so the course wasn't as crowded even though there were several guy golf trip groups there playing multiple nines. Having three nines can make for some traffic issues at the crossover between nines, but it was workable. Course itself was in decent shape and as an older course, the trees and rough areas were mature. Fairways were a little tight but the length overall wasn't long as courses go. Greens were fairly true and tended to be on the fast side. Sand traps weren't consistent. Some were fluffy but most were a bit thin and had the liners coming through. They also had a fair number of rocks which made hitting from them a bit chancey in terms of dinging your clubs.
first time
One drawback was the cafe was difficult to access while golfing. Needed a cart girl driving around around at least
Fun old course
Good value for the money. Beautiful surroundings. Still a little shaggy from winter. Not overly challenging but fun to play.
