My go to course. Only a few minor gripes
I absolutely love the layout of this course. I only have 3 issues. One pretty significant and the rest minor.
1. My biggest complaint. (And hopefully it’s better this year) I like to play in fall and early winter. As long as it’s over 45 degrees. My biggest issue with this course is that when the leaves fall, they were only blown to the edge of the fairway. If you are even two inches off the fairway, you are buried under leaves.
2. While the price is great for the course quality, I’d like a bit more out of the club house experience. Food options are limited. Hotdogs, (sometimes burgers) then basic things like chips and granola bars/muffins. I’d like to see a few more hot food options. Not a game changer just a bit less than similarly priced courses.
3. Similar to #2. They serve beer, but I’m a guy that likes a cocktail at the turn. Again, not a huge deal but similar courses have a decent bar situation. The space is there but it’s only being utilized for hot dogs and beer.
All that said, I love this course. Sam in the pro shop is super cool. Just keep the leaves a bit farther back and I’ll be here year round.
Much Improved Greens
Played a while ago and the greens were in awful shape- they’ve really rehabilitated things and the grass was beautiful. Clubhouse needs some TLC, but a great course to play. The hot dogs were good for lunch as well.
Terrible condition
Worst course I’ve played on since I’ve started playing golf fairways in particular the couldn’t tell the difference from the rough and fairways at all! No up keep, staff supper nonchalant!
Good shape
Greens consistent... Crews out cleaning up tree damage. Fun round
Poor Upkeep
Fairways were hammered.
Greens were ok though one had a huge dead spot that was all sand
Portapotties were out of toilet paper
I've seen other reviews stating the course conditions were excellent, even one from this month. That is ridiculous. The few holes that were kept to the standard do not make up for the several that were not. This is a decent course to play with the guys and forget about golf etiquette because the owner forgot the standard of care.
coarse let down
No drinking water on course
cart path torn up
no upkeep around course
very difficult to read yardage
bathroom terrible
too many twosomes on course for a weekend
no sand in bunkers
