Eastland Greens
This was a well kept course. Staff extremely friendly. I would most definitely play again.
Course has a good layout.
It was hot and humid the day I played and I rushed through the course, but it is worth the money by using golfnow.com. Will play there again soon.
Great course on a week day
I've played Eastland Green about 12 times over the years. Have not played on a weekend in the last 3 years. Not sure how busy they get on Saturday and Sunday.
The pace of play, at least on a Monday, was perfect. 18 holes in 3 hours 15 minutes for a 3-some.
Course is in the best condition that I've ever seen.
eastland green
well conditioned, and a good value. staff was a little standoffish and pushy.
Good Condition Poor Staff
The course was in very good shape, only one fairway with significant damage. There were a few tee boxes that were difficult (one with a slight slope, a few that needed to be trimmed) but never had any fault with any of the greens - they all looked good. My problem was the staff's rude and standoffish attitude to my entire group. (When I walked in the proton the lady who I checked in with saw us walk in and her cell phone rang - she answered and begin a conversation that was probably only about 2 minutes but we were all sort of standing there like...uhh...) I suggested this course as a place where a group from a few different communities could meet and they were unusually rude. Combine that with course rangers that followed us for 3 holes and we felt very unwelcome.
There are several (more interesting) courses within 10 miles that have friendly and attentive staff.
Good course.
The fairways and are in good shape. A few challenging holes but overall average Price is very good for the course. The course is in a neighborhood with houses among most fairways.
Nice course, rude employees!
The course itself is pretty fair for the money. The only course issues were a few rough T-boxes. I've played this course 3 times or so and it never fails the staff comes off as rude. They don't care much for the golfnow app and they always give me hard time about using it. The marshals like to follow you around from hole to hole watching like Hawks. Overall I like this place but the staff needs to learn some proper customer service.
This is a Great cours.
Grass was thin because of co snaps the last few weeks. We play there a lot. We love it.
Nice course for the price
Lots of winter kill, once it heals up this course will be awesome. Very challenging greens if you're above the hole.
Excellent greens in great shape
First time playing here. I was pleasantly surprised. Greens were excellent on 17 of the 18 holes right after some tough winter months. I will definitely play here again.
Good course
Good course and in great condition for the time of year.
Golf
Nice course the green is awesome sure play there again.
Great course
Eastland is one of the best tracks in northwest tennessee. It's tight fairways and fast andulating greens, make up for the distance. It can be tough but fair just don't be above the hole, you are asking for a three putt.
Enjoy
Pretty Course with Nice Fairways
These are some of the lusher fairways I've played lately on a public course. Greens were nice, also, with the exception of one, or two. Some tight tree-lined fairways mixed with some wide-open holes. Good mix and an enjoyable day. We'll be back!
Fun course with great greens!
I drove from west Nash so it took a good 45 mins but was worth it! I booked a hot deal for $12. The greens were in great shape and rolled true! (bent greens) Not the longest course but a fun layout! The staff was very friendly! Having some course knowledge would be key for scoring low here! Overall a really cool track!!
Nice
My wife and I played here and we enjoyed the time and just being out there. Nice hole locations, the greens were in good condition and we were able to start early.
We will plan to play here again in the spring.
Immaculate Greens
This course has an excellent range and short game practice area. Putting green is exact same speed as course and very well maintained facility in general. The tips will offer a challenging round for longer hitters while the men's and senior tees are more than fair. I play every Friday and Sunday and try to play a different course every weekend and Eastland Green is in the best shape of any. BTW fall foliage is peaking and makes this an exceptionally beautiful time to play.
Well maintained course
My friend and I got a1:10 tee time and were able to start a little early. the greens have been aerated but have healed nicely. the fairways are in excellent condition. My only complaint is about the sand traps. I was in five of them and they are wet and hard. As a result I had 4 double boogies. One green on the back has some damage. One par 3 hole is unusual. It is 106 yards down a steep slope past a rocky ravine. My 52 gap wedge went too far. My 56 sand wedge just barely made it. It was a fun round.
