Staff incredible, conditions superb, course layout odd but fun
This was a wonderful day on the course. Those that were playing were very friendly and kept a great pace of play. Don is an incredible asset to the course. Very friendly, understanding and fun to talk to. It was 85f and partly cloudy with a slight breeze but a little “sticky” (which means in the UC it felt like 95 in the sun with the humidity you could cut with a knife) since we got a passing shower the evening before. The course was is in excellent condition with the greens rolling smooth and held many of my approach shots (unfortunately I can’t putt so it didn’t help me very much). The staff and other player’s were extremely understanding and inviting which created a perfect atmosphere for my 2-year old son’s first experience on a golf course even for just a few holes (thank you Don and those who found his shoes on the 6th).
The course is a residential course which was an interesting (but fun) layout with a few short par 4s and par 3s stacked in a row. Fun elevation change (especially on the back 9), but several spots of driving through the neighborhood and doubling back or through a bumpy cart path. I would very much play this course again (maybe walking next) and recommend it for all others to enjoy. Thank you guys for making a great impression for my son who is now begging to go back.

Love White Plains
Absolutely love this course. The staff is awesome as well is the food. Greens and fairways are always in great shape too. White Plains is also, actually worth the money it costs to play. Most courses are overpriced but this one is not.
Dissappointed
Was lightning and raining, and would not do a rain check because we booked through golf now. The on site ranger, was not very kind.

Soooooooo Slow
Sadly, there are no rangers and they have no idea how to manage their t-times. Such a shame, used to be an amazing course.

Fairways
They are still trying to recover from the flood we had about a month ago and the fairways are up rough, but they are working on it and they’re coming back
Needs grass
Unfortunately this course is not what it once was. There are significant portions of the course that have no grass at all. They are attempting to grow grass now, but not sure exactly what has happened. The pace was a little slow, but we got behind two groups of four in their weekly tourney, no big deal. What I did not like always they allowed a twosome to start off on 10 as we made the turn. This put us even farther back. All in all, we played golf and it was a decent day.

Front 9 good, Back 9 sucks
Was not told when booking that I would have to start on the back 9. The back 9 is horrible and always has been. Bad layout, but was in bad condition as well. This course needs some maintenance.

Bad Service
Like i previously stated i paid my fee's on golf now thinking it worked like every other golf course when you book on golf now. They charged me an additional 18 dollars after i booked on golf now 23 dollars for 9 holes. Staff was very rude inside.

Decent
Definitely a strange layout. Conditions were rough since the bermuda has not greened up yet. Greens were in great shape for the most part
