Fayetteville Golf & Country Club

Arrived at 8:30 am on Saturday for our 9:00 am tee time. No staff were present and no one was in the parking lot! This alarmed my group but the staff arrived a few minutes later to open the facility.

Greens rolled slow so aggressive putts could be made. Fairways were wide and we didn't have much trouble driving the ball - left was always safe. Several holes had elevation changes, which made for nice views and a couple forced carries. Yardage markers were very visible, which we appreciated.

The course was fairly short. My playing partners (4 handicap and 8 handicap) had wedges in hand on many of the par-4s and 6 irons or less into par 5's for eagles.

Since this is a nine hole course, our group was slowed as we made the turn since we ran into those playing the front nine. Two of the holes had significant enough tee box moves to make them feel as if you were playing a different hole. The others played the same (just a matter of 10 to 15 yds difference).

Overall, a pleasant round of golf but not very challenging. Good place to play with beginners or intermediate golfers as the trouble is minimal.

I wouldn't pay the full price to play here but the hot deal rate I got on golf now was worth it. It's a 9 hole course with 2 different tee locations per hole and you go around 2 times to complete 18. Not a bad place, they just need to get there greens/rough in better shape.

Get colonal golf course and foxrun both in Meredianville AL closer to home. Otherwise pebble creek challengeing golf for 9 holes good value get colonal and foxrun so I can use golf now more often me and plenty like me will use golf now to book tee times at these courses

They have temporary greens in play while they fix the old busted up greens. after 4 holes when I got on the green I would call it a 2 putt and walk off.

This is a good course. very good price also. is a very good challenge.
