Fun hilly 9-hole course with very small greens

Old school 9-holer built on a hilly site. The greens are some of the fastest and smallest I have played. After putting off the first green, I adjusted my putting.

I enjoyed the hilly layout and use of natural terrain to create several unique and memorable holes.

You get what you pay for.

Pretty straightforward course. Cheap rate. Nothing too special but for the price it’s decent. Course can be a little challenging in spots because of the hills and super tiny/fast greens.

The perfect view

Looking off the 9th hole tee box with the rolling hills, classic church steeple in the background, perfect.

Emory Golf Course

I’d recommend this course to anyone who wants a quick tune-up round. I played 18 holes in 1 hr and 45 mins. on 1/16/19. The layout is nice. It is only nine holes—play them twice for an eighteen hole round. The fairways are not in goos shape, but then again, it is winter. The greens are unbelievably fast. Some to the point that what would be good approach shots on most courses are penalized by rolling back and twenty to thirty yards in front of the green.

Cost is an issue. It is too expensive for what the course offers. I live ten minutes from the course, but golf elsewhere because the value is poor. For instance, this time of the year, I play Centennial in Oak Ridge for 5 dollars less per round than Emory’s fee.

The staff is friendly.

Good course for beginners

Usually play this course once a week.
It's a bit hilly but the fairways are wide the greens are mostly level. It's a bit Haley so walking will tire you out. Cost is low so there's usually several people playing. Mid day is a better time than morning or evening if you want to take your time.
