Got rained out on Monday trying to play this course. Down in TN for a week and Jeff in the clubhouse told us to come back when the weather was better. Came back and played it today and had a great time. We were first out in the morning so no waiting or being pushed thought whole round. Nice little 9 hole course with nice greens and well taken care of.
Buried in the Smokies
Nice little 9 hole course with some challenging holes, significant changes in elevation throughout the course, need to be able to work the ball off the tee to score, greens in good condition, reasonably fast but not unmanageable, unusual in that the course commences with a par 3; also last two hole are very tricky with hidden hazards, very friendly and helpful staff
a challenging course which places a premium on shotmaking
from the starting par 3 hole (the only course that i know of that begins with a par 3) to the slight dogleg right 9th hole, one will have a difficult time finding a course with more bang for your buck! the course places a premium on good drives in order to stay out of its challenging rough. many of the greens are elevated which makes a good wedge game a must! and if you don't have time for a full 18 you can satisfy your golf fix by playing only 9...but if you stay for a full 18 i promise that the back 9 will be as much fun and as challenging as the front!
