Beautiful, very well maintained course.
Pace of play was great as well.
Can’t beat a day spent at Saddle Creek.
Not worth it
Parking lot half full on a weekend. You wonder why. Overcharge for the quality of course, $75 to play this place?? Go back to pre-Covid prices of $40-$50 a round and it will slammed packed like it used to be. Much better options that charge less then Saddle. Used to play every weekend now only come over when we need a last minute tee time because they are never booked up!!
Grunge play
Raised prices and decreased value.
Few days after rain and the course felt like a swamp
Club house in worn out shape with minimal service. The “Order a coffee, charge you Starbucks prices, hand you a cup and tell you it’s around the corner in a gas station dispener” kinda service.
Slow play with no Marshall to speed up game play. Close to 5 hr round with no stop at the turn.
Few trash cans along course. No beverage cart.
Greens and tee box below avg shape.
Couldn’t get off this course fast enough.
The people running the course we’re great to deal with. Everyone was friendly and happy. However, the price overall was quite expensive compared to other courses in the area. The food at the turn was alright but not the best. Although I don’t expect steakhouse quality at the turn so all in all it was a good experience. Would I recommend this course to someone? Probably, but not my first choice.
Enjoyable round, course in good shape
Played July 3rd. The course is in good condition. Only issue is that most of fringes on all of the greens under under repair. They did a good job and placed Sod on all the green edges but it is not taking. Also, their new app did not work for order ahead food on the 8/9th hole. It caused our group a 25 minute delay at the turn waiting for our order, we let two groups played through to not hold up play pace. The food was great once we did get it. Highly recommend the caesar wrap. Do not recommend ordering via the App. Would call ahead on phone instead. They have QR code and phone in the cart as well. Go with that method.

Thank you for playing Saddle Creek Golf Club and providing us with valuable feedback. We will always strive to do our best in the operations and maintenance of the course. We just laid the sod less than 6 days ago, it hasn't had a chance to fully take, but it will.
The restaurant is new and still learning the proper procedures. We're still working on procedures with our point of sale for online orders and still working through the best process for that on our end. The app works perfectly fine and takes you to the same place the QR code does. That was, unfortunately, user error, and our deepest apologies.
We hope to see you back soon!

Overpriced for condition
Course is in good shape besides a few greens. Almost every green has horrible conditions around the fringe.
Patrickq24,
Thank you for playing Saddle Creek Golf Club and providing us with valuable feedback. We will always strive to do our best in the operations and maintenance of the course. The hard freeze over the winter did a number on our collars and various other areas. As you noticed, many were being prepped with new sod for great playing conditions.

Course has gotten way too overpriced
Quality of the course hasn’t been quite as good as past years. The prices have increased significantly as well. IMO not worth the cost to play here.
Mr. Smitherman,
Thank you for playing Saddle Creek Golf Club and providing us with valuable feedback. We understand that the condition of the course fell short of expectations. The weather has been our issue and not only ours but across the state. We were part of a survey with the University of Tennessee, and the results were “67% of superintendents indicated that their bermudagrass fairways are emerging from winter dormancy at a slower rate than in years past. These numbers were striking and highlight that slow bermudagrass green-up on fairways in 2023 is a statewide phenomenon that isn’t confined to a singular property”. They listed four main reasons, Drought Conditions in Fall 2022, Historic Freezing Event in December 2022, Traffic on Dormant Fairways, and Temperature Fluctuations in Spring 2023.
For the pricing, everything has increased, chemicals, fertilizer, and labor. We were no exception.

Not terrible
First time playing. Played on a Wednesday morning. Not busy which was nice but caught up to a twosome who were going quite slow around 15. Course was aerated recently and there were quite a few dead patches all over the fairways which made playing a bit annoying. Greens themselves were in good shape but the fringe on each hole was in bad shape and there was a small lip to get on the green which made putting from the fringe or a bump and run bear impossible. Price was respectable but was hoping for better conditions. Course layout was a bit strange and a few holes i needed to rely on my gps to tell me where the flag was or I wouldn’t have known. Also the bar/restaurant was of course closed on Wednesdays so that didn’t help

The Bar & Grill at Saddle Creek is closed on Wednesday's temporarily until we can get fully staffed.
We appreciate your loyalty as a customer and we hope you will give us the opportunity to serve you again in the future.

Under going changes in management. Bar and restaurant were not open meaning no food on the turn. Range was also closed
RickyBobby 82,
Thank you for playing Saddle Creek Golf Club and providing us with valuable feedback. We will always strive to do our best in the operations and maintenance of the course. Our restaurant was being leased and now we are taking over to make it geared toward our golfers. We are hoping to have it operational by the first of April if not sooner. The range was closed because we had a lot rain in the prior days and the ground is very saturated and we lose many balls. We hope you give us another shot to raise your 2-star score.

Well worth it
A very nice course in a laid back atmosphere. 1st hole made us think houses were going to be in past throughout the day, but they weren't.
Solid course
I had an amazing time at saddle Creek. The fairways were nice. The greens were kept. The only complaint I really have is that the fringes around the green were a bit spotty but from the looks of it there actively working on putting new grass around the fringes. I will be back to play again.
dzman129,
Thank you for playing Saddle Creek Golf Club and providing us with valuable feedback. We will always strive to do our best in the operations and maintenance of the course. We will be finishing the re-sod of the bad collars today. The winter weather took its toll on them.

Thank you for playing Saddle Creek Golf Club and providing us with valuable feedback. We will always strive to do our best in the operations and maintenance of the course. Our price is comparable to most in our area for the conditions. Our turn menu is limited to brats or hot dogs as they are quick and readily available. We have a fantastic menu of food options, and hope you give us another try.
