Value with views
Planned on playing 18 but tried all 27. The surrounding views are excellent. Other than a limited clubhouse, this course will be enjoyed by almost everyone. It is a relatively easier course but depending on the pin location, can make your long drive on the wide fairways obsolete. Will plan on playing here a few more times before end of the year.
Of the three courses available, I prefer the Orange and White if only because the Red features more left hand doglegs that don’t set up well for my fade/slice. Greens were in very good shape considering how dry it has been lately. Not much rough and the fairways were in good shape. While the course was fairly crowded, we moved along nicely with only the occasional delay. Always enjoy seeing and chatting with Harold.
Not the best experience. Was a party of 2 and the course paired us with a third even after we stated learning... the gentleman they paired us with never stopped at the ladies tees so I could tee off. He drive right in front of me more than once. We left on the 4th hole and went to a different course to play. 90.00 shot to heck.
Had to wait
Teed off at 8:00am, no wait until the 4th hole. Once we got to the 4th hole it was stacked, waited just about 5 minutes for every shot after. The course itself is in good shape!
Great golf course BUT
Golf pass lied!!!! I was told I would be playing with 3 others but no!!! When I called them I spoke to someone that could barely speak English!!!!
Golf Course Starter
One of the golf course starters had an attitude when I was looking for my ball. He said they have received complaints (directly them to me and my friend) that we weren't moving fast enough --- which was not the case at all. He even had the audacity to say we should just pick up and skip to the next hole. Look...I have no problem letting someone play through that's better than me, but I paid to play 18 holes of golf. I'm not skipping anything and to even suggest that is not cool.
Great place!
Very fair course. Beautiful condition. Easier than some, but really fun.
Never again
Beautiful well kept course with amazing scenery. It’s unfortunate that the tee times and groupings of this course are so poorly managed. My brother and I had a 7:10 tee time and was paired up with another twosome, which is pretty standard and would not be a problem if everyone was made to have tee times and also play in foursomes. It took us four hours to complete 12 holes, until we finally said enough is enough and left. We typically play 18 in three hours or less as a twosome. We waited on every shot, in turn we had to allow twosomes to play through, which added to the wait. Everywhere you looked there were people waiting. If you are so concerned with money, raise your prices, the course is worth it. It would also keep some of the groups that would hit it 10 yards at a time off of the course. It would also help prevent all of those I repaired ball marks on the green. I reiterate, this is so unfortunate because the course is enjoyable and beautiful. Unfortunately this was my one and more than likely only attempt at playing the course. I assumed all the slow pace of play reviews online were just exaggerated. Unfortunately they were right on the money.
Course does not have tee times during the week and I was informed that they are not connected with GoflNow.
Honest review
I never leave course reviews but i have also never experienced anything like this. I am currently on the 4th tee box waiting as i have on every tee box. I get to the course at 10:45 booked an 11:00 tee time on golf now, i told the guy in the pro shop I have a tee time at 11:00, he give a half hearted laugh and says doesent matter you can go when we ger a cart. They had run out of carts so I didnt get to tee off until 11:15. And have proceeded to wait 10 minutes on every single shot. The course itself is in great condition greens are a little slow but are well maintained and look awesome, fairways are in good shape. Just dont book on golf now if you play call the course and maybe you will have better luck.
Well maintained
This was a very well maintained course but the lack of scheduling tee times made it very backed up. We sat for 30 minutes waiting at the first tee in a line of 6 groups that got longer behind us. This course could use some Breyer scheduling to make play more time efficient and less crowded.
Nice Course, Great Views
We really enjoyed our round of golf at Lambert Acres. The course was in really good shape. A few minor critiques: several tee boxes had extremely hard ground. It was so hard, it was very difficult to get a tee in the ground.. my only other critique would be better signage on the course. Signs indicating what hole you’re playing, distance, par, layout etc. Also, signs directing you to the next hole.
Great day at lambert!
Course was in great shape! Pace was good as we played 27 holes in 5 hours! Amazing at the business this course gets earl in the morning.
Proceed with Caution
The course is ok but it’s overpriced and the staff is rude. I have heard horror stories from over a dozen people about this place. Owners cussing golfers out, not giving people proper rain checks, and other things that would take 3 hours to write. I’ve had positive interactions with the young people who work out there (20 and below) but the old head who works out there in the mornings is the absolute worst. Super rude, never smiles, and ruins the mood before you ever even tee off. After years of playing here, I will not be back. All LA cares about is money!
