Red Course - Fun
Me and a buddy played the Red Course (they have 3, 9-hole courses). We finished in about 1.5 hours. Very hilly, but I think that makes it more fun. Not many hazards, so pretty friendly. No water to drink throughout the course, only at the club house so stock up if its a hot day.
It was our first time playing this course and both of us really liked it. However, it is confusing sometimes to know which hole is the next as the cart path sometimes diverge in different directions. In other words, the holes were not at all well marked.
Poor course management
I love the course and play it often eventhough there are needed changes. There is not a starter at the tee box to keep pace of play. You have to call for a ranger and singles and doubles are allowed on the weekends.
The fairways are not watered and sparce of grass.
Radios are allowed and played loudly. There is no drinking water on the course.
If these changes were addressed it would be a premier course.
Great Course in Maryville
This course has 3 nine holes and it's always interested with 2 you get to play. The orange is my favorite but we played the white and red. Both nice - fairways are a little thin but a nice layout. We played the yellow markers-5200 yards. Nice to make a lot of pars but think I will back up to the whites next time around to see how I do. Dont want to get too used to 371 yard par 5s. :)
Good value course
From tee time reservation to the first tee the staff was great. Fairway could use a bit more fairway grass for approach shots. The greens are good. Hard to beat this course for the price.
Thank you Lambert Acres CG!

Overall review
The greens here are fantastic, but getting to the green has some difficulty. Fairways were alright but not good by any means. We got hit into 2 times on the fly by other golfers with 0 Fore warning and nothing after. The greenskeeper is clearly an A-hole for giving a solid 3 paces off the fromt edge or back edge on nearly every hole. Ridiculous. Beers are also $4 and is too expensive when you need to drink to play here.
They don't accept online booking rates
I've played this course a lot in the past and it's generally a good course for beginners as well as experienced players with its layout. Other than being behind a slow group of four that had no desire of letting anyone play through, the only real problem is that they don't reflect your online booking rate! I chose a "hot deal" rate that was ten dollars cheaper for two players. The app only charged the convenience fee upfront. Once I got there, the employee said to not use online booking and then charged more than what the price was supposed to be, so I winded up paying more by using the app. The greens are always nice, but overall I don't agree with the price of $40 a round when there are several more maintained courses close by that charge the same or less depending on the time of day. I used to play 18 holes here for less than $30.
Great day of golf
Green were recently aerated and sanded, so a little slow but true. Fairways were actually in good shape for early April. I find this course to be really enjoyable with enough difficulty and interesting layout to make it worthwhile every time I go out there.
