Gaylord Springs Golf Links
About
The Cumberland River gave birth to the Scottish links-style Gaylord Springs Golf Links, a par-72 golf course that provides 18 testing holes that border limestone bluffs and wetlands protected by the feds. The golf course, designed by the former U.S. Open and PGA Champion Larry Nelson, has collected several distinctions over its days.
The big draw on the Gaylord Springs Golf Links is the signature fourth hole, home to the hundred-plus-year-old springhouse that gives the golf course its name.
After a round on the Gaylord Springs Golf Links, head back to the 43,000-square-foot antebellum-style clubhouse to shop, dine, and take in the views of the golf course.

Slow play without correction
Would not correct slow play as the Marshall told us they were keeping pace.
Offensive Price
I've played Gaylord plenty of times, but when I saw they're charging $141 for a round there, I was so offended I felt the need to write this review. It's a solid course on a smallish piece of property with some interesting holes, but many of them are right on top of each other. It's well maintained and their greens are always great, but in no way shape or form should anyone pay $141 for this place. I thought it was bananas when they were charging $100, but now they're like $40 more than Hermitage (which is a better course). Absurd
Father's Day Golf
Course was in Great Condition and the staff is very friendly!
Great experience from out of town.
I had a blast playing this course. Top notch service, wonderful staff. The course was in phenomenal condition. We played in a downpour for the front nine, but the back cleared up. We had a great time. Only complaint is that I paid something like $25 for a small bucket of range balls, after dropping $120-130 on the round, which seems excessive. Also, no rye bourbon at the bar is a sin. Will definitely be back, thank you so much!
Great track
Very fast greens. Cart path only which also adds to the challenge..
Gaylord Springs
Beautiful layout. Excellent greens. Very fast.
Fairways in tough conditions … attributed to time of year, weather, etc… Really questioned Cary path only requirement for how dry the course was!
Unexpected
Decided to check out a different public course 25 miles from my home. It was an excellent experience. Greens were in great shape. The fairways need some more spring weather but that’s being petty. Definitely recommend
I will play Gaylord Spring House whenever i can!
Arrived early to a packed parking lot, but attendants quickly found a parking place. Check-in was quick and practice has range, traps, chipping and putting excellence. Of course, the links course between with Cumberland River and mountain shelf is beautiful. By the way, the pimento cheese sandwich was too good.
Lies
I called to ask if the course was CPO and was told no, they were off the path, but then showed up and it was CPO. I would not have reserved a tee time or showed up had I known that. Waste of money and time.
Nice course!
First time playing here. Would recommend to others. Friendly staff, liked the course, good pace of play. I’ll come back when I’m town again.
Challenging Course
Course is deceptively challenging on virtually every hole. Greens in Excellent shape and well protected. Course plays long with little roll on fairways. And, oh by the way, don’t hit outside fairways as shot difficulty sours. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Will be back to play again in 2023.

Worth a visit, great course.
Fun course where you can choose a number of tee markers to play off. Had problem with our carts, however they were all being replaced the following day. Lots of water and bunkers which made it fun. Place of play OK. Issue was carts were Path only, even though ground not wet which slowed everyone down. Would play again, the grounds were well looked after and mowed. Recommend to play.
